Possible upset :(16)Olypmic at (1)East Forsyth

Today, rumors started spreading around East Forsyth that three players were "written up" by teachers for skipping class. It's likly all three players will be suspended meaning that cannot play tomorrow. One is rumored to be a "valuable Offensive player". While nothing is certain those rumors are out there.

Not to mention beside Wednesday, East is unfortunately not over looking but under estimating Olympic. There practice today was awful. As much as it kills me to say it, you could see an upset tomorrow night.

Now I know all the Charlotte people think Olympic is awful, but keep in mind east lost to a 6-5 team last year, Olympic's is 5-6.

Don't hold me to anything but you could very well see an upset in The triad tomorrow. Just have to see which East Forsyth team shows up the team that scores 14 points and coast the rest of the game or the team that could complete with butler, mallard creek so on.

I don't know how many starters would have to be out for Olympic to have a shot in this game. I'm guessing it will take a lot more than anything EF will give them.

If any schools can choke, it would be a school from Forsyth County......Their never as good as they think they are. I still believe they will win.

Guess you were wrong. By the way teams have awful practices all the time. I was at the game and if that's what an awful practice does for EF make sure you tell Coach Willert to have an awful practice every week cause those boys balled out tonight (yes I do know it was against a 16 seed and its about as funny as this thread) I've seen some of your post before Forsyth Football are you an East Forsyth Insider?

in my defense I really didn't know they were that bad, I mean east had 42 at half time and they basically just stopped scoring be caused that's what east does the 42 point limit.

I mean I expected a little more from Olympic as a Charlotte team and all because that's the worst team east has faced all year.

East did struggle the (east defense) was falling apart throughout the game, Olympic just couldn't catch the ball to save their live, they had wide open players and the WR's for Olympic couldnt catch the ball.

I used to go and play at east (when they sucked/pre wilert ) and I live in the era so I go to most of the home games.

We tried to tell you guys that Olympic wasn't all that good. Indy is down this year as well. East was very fortunate with its bracket.

I saw that the DB's at times lost some of the RBs coming out of the backfield. That's what the Wing T does to you though. When your DBs start creeping up on run support they go playaction and usually more times than not someone forgets about a RB out of the backfield or a TE dragging across the field behind the LBs. When NW Guilford ran the Wing T they had a few years where they gave East Forsyth a lot of problems with it. I remember in 2012 EF had a team that was almost a State Championship team but they really struggled the last week of the season against a 7 win NW team that ran the Wing T.

East has 3 dynamic players in RB Christian Beal, DB Madison Cone and WR Nike(Nique)Martin... about 8 great players and 11 good players. They look much different than other teams, only West Forsyth has had equal talent on the East Forsyth schedule. A 3pt game early this season(24-21).

I saw the game tonite and EF steamrolled Indy big time. EF is playing pretty good football and yes Indy is not like what it was before. They will play WF which will be a great game. They know each other so well and they already play once with EF winning 24 to 21. I think what I read before that EF had several TD's called back. The whole place will be pack like a can of sardines. Triad teams done great tonight big time. EF may not win the state but they are a SOLID football team with a lot of weapons on offense.
