As i was looking back thru many things on the hs huddle i ran across records for the past 10 years..yes its 10 years..enough sample size? Guess thats up for debate also..no doubt pisgah may have the most rabid fan base in wnc..clearly they have more active posters here than any team..but does our record really back up some of our talk..over the past 10 years 10 teams have won more games..11 teams have higher winning percentage and 7 teams have more conf titles..on the other hand that means approx 20 teams have won less games and less conf titles than the bears..i guess in my opinion a good way to judge a program is two questions..in those 10 years how many teams has pisgah beat that they simply shouldnt have ? Teams that were just better but pisgah won? And how many teams has pisgah lost too during same time that they simply shouldnt have? That they were clearly better than? I don't know the answer being new to the area but im intersted in seeing some of the answers..and i have a brilliant ideal..lets attempt to keep this to football..not hotdogs mopeds and toothless women..

Since Brett Chappell showed up in 2013.Pisgah is 52-20.Overall years Pisgah is 416-200-six ties.Is that average .You tell me?
Average..they have the most passionate fans in the country..no where can you find more diehard fans even if blinded...i mean they have a head coach that is like "The Miz" he has so much power when he goes to argue calls he simply uses the miz's line.."WHEN MY HAND GOES UP YOUR MOUTH GOES SHUT"...and almost immediately the officials fall silent..and if that doesnt work...well it usually does..afterall video evidence did show our beloved bears should have lost to SM but the official was afraid the coaches hand may go up if he called a touchdown...i hear he once had a varsity football official relgated to youth soccer just over an offsides call...im sure glad he coaches my team...i cant wait til our defense gets to bust hibritens ass

They are a good team against other average mountain teams. They beat Murphy. That's it. They simply don't have the team speed or athletes to be a great team or make any noise in the playoffs. Historically they they are a pretty good program but times have changed. Like I said there are a handful of mtn teams that would beat Pisgah but they do well against the murphy's and sm's of the the world.

Having confidence doesn't make you an idiot or fake fan. The small mindedness of Pisgah hurts us as much as the demographics. When you have the mindset of a loser youre gonna be a loser. Ask players from any of these FCS schools (I have) that have upset the big boys (App, JMU) and they will tell you that they went into those games thinking they could whoop that ass. If they hadn't they would have gotten slaughtered. It should be the same in our town. Don't just whine and give up before a game is even played. It happens every year and yall "classy fans" who seem to care so much about how theyre perceived always downplay our success. Go take that loser mindset somewhere else, I'm sick of it in my town.

Actually a real question...in the opinion of bear posters..what are realistic expectations for bears..supposedly best team in 22 years..so does that mean conf title and 4th round are only way season a success? Or is anything less than a state title a failure as yall have been quick to tell teams like mitchell..heritage and Franklin in the past..so does that apply to pisgah nation???? So if any of yall can actually answer a football related question without being pet detective that would be better than a monkey in the circus
Theres a lot of coaches cronies on here. Boosters who are shoved so far up the coaches butt that they try to shut down anyone who questions what the coach is doing. TALKING STRATEGY/SMACKTALK IS WHAT THESE BOARDS ARE FOR. Sometimes we will question what he does, while acknowledging he is awesome coach. If you can't handle that, get off the internet and go back to Lake Chetuge....

Best in 22 years? The 2002 and 2006 teams were far better than this years team, those were 2 damn good teams.
Been watching some pisgah games how could the fans not be mad. Your best player wike should be the quarterback, the kid great athlete the only one you guys have. You guys have struggle all season.
I believe in these kids. If that means I'm not a Pisgah fan then I guess I'm not a "real" Pisgah fan.
