Thanks Gov. Cooper....now why don't you retire to a deserted island far away from NC??? BTW this is directed to Cooper not ThunderstruckWe all would love football to start tomorrow but let's be realistic here. Schools are releasing schedules as we speak. Do we expect underpaid coaches and ADs to rework everything again after they just did?
By all means stand up for what you believe in, but we aren't getting football until February.
He can move to California with Nancy Pelosi & Maxine Waters ! Will make a good 3 some in the middle of one of those wildfires. LOL, did I just say that ?Thanks Gov. Cooper....now why don't you retire to a deserted island far away from NC??? BTW this is directed to Cooper not Thunderstruck
Every football coach in NC would love for football to start Oct 1. All they would have to do is revert back to the original plan of action. Michigan started two weeks after their petition. Surely Mich isn't that much more intelligent than us North Carolinians! The schedule given by the NCHSAA was a premature poor attempt to appease the public. It was a forced schedule! Superintendents and AD's were told to accept this or not have season at all. This was an unfair and political plight. Shame on all involved. Not one board member stood against this according to Q. Tucker...She did not vote. Only or mostly now democratic governed states are not playing football. It is very doable and should be done for the sake of the student athletes. Playing in Feb & early March will be extremely tough on the players in the Mountains. Risk of injury during this time will be far greater than Covid-19. Read what the CDC says about it. Cooper and his ilk, Thunder, see nothing but politics in every move they make. Coop is eyeing the senate seat in 2022. That's already been said. What he had done to the citizens and student athletes of this state is abhorrent. He could care less. I truly pray that the people will get out in droves and vote his sorry ass out. He is a disgrace. And supporters of him aren't far from it either.

You don't know what I vote for or support. Don't assume crap. You should also be offended by taking the R word and turning into into a play on words, but then again making fun of a disabled person didn't bother you either probably. Some words we must stop normalizing in society. But people only care about themselves and not how others may feel.
One of my best lifetime friends is special needs but I dont get so easily offended like some of you do. Your responses to people on a daily basis lets me know you lean left so save it.
That’s what is wrong with this country right now. You are seeing what happens when everyone gets a trophy. Maybe there are certain things we shouldn’t of taken out of school and maybe we wouldn’t have to care what others may be feeling.
If you looked at my friend and said that, I'd laugh at him and tell you, "I've been telling him that for years!"It's not about being butthurt. It's about being a decent freaking person. So answer my question, if I looked at your friend and called him the R word, would you not be upset?
Stay on topic and stop deflecting. This isn't about abortion. Why can't you answer my question?
Is it because that word is incredibly offensive. You know it is, but as long as someone doesn't use it by directing it toward someone with special needs, you don't care?
