Class 4-AA East, No. 6 Page (12-2) at No. 1 Apex Middle Creek (14-0)

The essentials: Last week, Page showed what it was capable of when it limits mistakes. The Pirates' 49-33 win over the same Richmond County team that beat Dudley was as big a statement as their 30-21 win Nov. 20 at previously unbeaten Wake Forest.

Page hits the road again to face another unbeaten team, Middle Creek.

The Mustangs' defense is giving up an average of just 12.9 points per game.

But will be tested by a Page team that is averaging 402.9 yards and 42.9 points per game behind..
junior QB Will Jones (178-304-9, 2,727 yards, 28 TDs passing and 10 rushing TDs),
junior RB Javon Leake (1,858 yards, 25 TDs rushing)
senior WR Diondre Overton (78 receptions, 1,251 yards, 15 TDs, plus 2 pick-sixes).

Middle Creek's offense is led by junior QB Dominique Shoffner (108-179-10, 1,158, 16 TDs passing, 462 yards, 8 TDs rushing).
