Let's get started. Last year's game was huge on here. NW doesn't appear to be as good but still have Tre Turner.
We dealt with it last year, and still plowed through everyone in the playoffs and plowed through the State Championship Game... so Bring them on. Reidsville proved last year that their "weak" schedule didn't hurt them down the stretch.I think Reidsville takes this convincingly. Reynolds beat Southwest but SW was without their D1 commit quarterback. So comparing scores is a little off cause NW was without their qb versus SW. But I think Reidsville takes this one and they'll unfortunately have to deal with naysayers who will complain about their schedule. I just hope Ram Nation can just ignore those pundits and get ready to defend their crown.
Totally agree!!My ideal schedule would have been Western Alamance, Dudley, Nw Guilford or Magna Vista and Gw Danville.
A schedule that brutal we would need the conference we're in to recover.Totally agree!!
As far as crowds, all of those schools you mentioned would be better than Andrews. I was surprised by the size of the crowd on the Magna Vista side.
With the slicing of the state's funding help, schools certainly must be aware of gate receipts these days. I'm afraid that after the Northwest game, Reidsville won't be seeing much in the way of visiting crowds for the other three home games.
I don't remember them having much of a crowd at the Reidsville game last year and that one was in High Point. Maybe I'm mis-remembering though.Andrews would be a good gate if they were winning. They'll bring more than our conference teams.
+1 Truer words were never written.Everyone is focused on NW's 2 D1 receivers. Tre Turner is a stud, but imho I think we have the best receivers in the state as a group! They should be worried about our receivers and especially our running game!!

I think that's what makes Reidsville pass offense more dangerous they don't have 1 or 2 stud receivers you can focus on, but several descent receivers that you have to worry about. Seems like every game a different receiver stands out. That's a homer statement I doubt you have seen any other group of receivers besides Reidsville and their opponents. Everyone looks good vs scrubs against a real defense I don't think we have any wr that would scare you into I must double cover.
While Northwest has two superstars at WR, Reidsville has super depth. The Rams' leading receiver has 10 catches but four others have at least five. Reidsville QB is connecting on 68 percent of his passes while NW two QBs have 58 percent mark (according to Maxpreps). That's a homer statement I doubt you have seen any other group of receivers besides Reidsville and their opponents. I agree that we have wrs that will catch the ball when open but to say that collectively they are the best in the state is a reach.
And numbers are a product of competition and Reidsville plays only 1 team worth anything out of 11 and that's this week. Well I will give you 1.5 MV was decent.
2002 was the best group I've seen in the last 20 years...3 d1 wr on that state championship team...Simpson--coastal Carolina...Chestnutt---Duke...and Blackwell North Carolina central...all three played on the last state championship basketball team that year as well...In 2003...Reidsville did have the best core of receivers ever...they were the best that year in all classifications if I remember right....three went on to play college ball...1 became a member of the US Bobsled team.................................
