Mount Airy following a great season for their football team finishing as The State Runner Up in 1AA . The bears have some catching up to do boys and girl basketball and have yet to play a game. Here is how the NWC stands so far.

NW Boys should be exciting this season. Prep's 3-3 record should not fool anyone as they are playing an extremely difficult non con slate. Adding South back to the NW mix this season. They are off to a 6-0 start and returns a 4 year starter in 6-9 Ben Bowen. East, North, and Bishop are off to undefeated starts. MA has not played yet but returns a lot and is expected to be good via their selection in the Championship bracket of the Frank Spencer.
