Not to bad for a sub par team right ninja? If you were at the game Northside got two lucky breaks basically a Hail Mary at the half with 2 seconds before half time a kid got a tipped ball for a TD. And a blown coverage with their kid running 30 yards behind the defense all alone. Other then that all Cards! Monday they have to kick to use with 5 and allot of change on the clock. To a running game that they have no answer to.
Sorry for the subpar comment, but don't forget they have days to solve it, and then they get the ball. Was not at the game, but I assume Northside was moving the ball a little to. Sucks they could not just play this game out.
No they were not... QB had a couple of decent runs. He is a monster. The thing withNorthside is they got 6'3 and 6'4 receivers. And those kids can move like they are 5'6 guys athletic as all get up. So teams had better pressure their QB or they will have a serious problem against them. Cannot wait to see them against Clinton and Havelock because athlete wise I tell you what they will match up. I know everybody has Havelock doing this and that. But I tell you what the Northside kids will not be scared to square up with them and will match them athlete for athlete. Now I don't know much about Clinton besides they are supposed to be great. But if they don't get after the QB and they don't have DB that will match up against those receivers it could be a long night my friend. Like I been telling everyone Jacksonville has the athletes to match up with anyone and regardless of what any of you say there will not be a team that will be faster then the Cards none. Not even Havelock I promise. Those diaper dandies just got to learn to put it all together for 4 quarters. Cannot wait till Monday to put it to rest as far as who is the best in Onslow county. We get the ball with a strong big offensive line and a stable of horses who ran at will and Northside could not stop especially 10.
Happy to see Jacksonville doing well. I give them a hard time, but I always use to enjoy having a good team
As far as Northside vs Clinton. Northside has to stop the ground game or else Clinton will just eat the clock. On the other hand Northside still will move the ball a little. I would expect a low scoring game, and very close. Those huge wide outs will make a difference if they can snag a few in.

Bro i seen clinton an northside if u think clinton is gonna run all over northside your crazy .... an as far as Jacksonville .... they still havent played a 3aa school .. an this why they go in the pkayoffs an lose by 40 their the onky team in are county who plays only smaller schools in non conference .. an hurts them hell even white oak plays 4aa ashley lol .. northside is going to do very well in 2aa playoffs .. Jacksonville will do as usual get blasted by havelock .. get blasted by west craven who killed new bern in 1 st qtr 17 -0 till rain .. lose or win a tight one to west carterat ... beat white oak .. beat south side . Have to ravel 1st rd as a no.10 seed an loose in the greensboro or Fayetteville or wilson area by 40 ... same shit ...... different yr ... Yes, my Horses will have their hands full with Northside, especially coming off a short week. This will be another great game, just like the Northside/Jacksonville game. I've seen some of the highlights from that game before the weather set in, looked like the Cards were moving the ball very well against the Monarchs.
Ninja can't brag and boost SWO up this year so seems he is on the Northside Jax bandwagon...hey I know they are a great team we will have to play our best game to win.....but hey we are a pretty darn good team too....and if Jville is running the ball on em I think we can too....we do have one of the best RBs in the state gotta count for something right?

I know Ninja is the biggest SWO supporter...but man how can you be so supportive of one of your teams biggest rivals.....I know Wallace,East Bladen,and East Duplin have are good year in and out but I will never make a post talking bout how good they are....those are Clinton's biggest rivals I respect them but at the end of the day I hate them with a passion
Here is the deal in Onslow county. They love to hate Jacksonville for whatever reason. Do you notice they cannot ever give credit to the Cards no matter what they do. Never hey they are a good team never hey they got some good kids. If we win its because the refs were horrible or the other team is down. Not even our own newspaper in town will give them credit. We have a coach that has taken a program from 0-11 to playoffs in 3 years and have been a playoff team every since. Kids are consistently getting better year in and year out. They can't stand the fact that hell the kids don't even celebrate beating SWO because they expect to now no matter how good they think they are or who is on their sidelines. In the last 5 years they have beaten Northside 3 times. They hate it. All I can say and will always say. Go Cards!!! I don't care if we go 0-11 you will never hear me jump on Northside bandwagon or SWO when my team is down. Respect them yes. Ride their Johnson NEVER!!! Now I do want to see all the Onslow county teams do well but will never be like some of those clowns are in SWO. Padgett knew when to get out of dodge. He knew it was just not going to be the same. All their coaches hauled tail. Price, Barnes. The run they had impressive but it's just not the same at the ol horse stables.
You got to feel bad for coach Dempsey.. Kid gets a soup sandwich and they expect him to win. They want to talk about avoiding playing teams what about SWO vs Northside when both were on top of their games? How was that not a easy one to schedule before they ended up in the same conference? Look at those gates for each school. The stadiums would have been standing room only.
Footballaholic your beating 2A teams and if you pull off a victory against 2A Northside then you would have beaten a good 2A team. When you hit conference there are still teams you can't beat. Somewhere around 2nd or 3rd round your going to have to play someone in your conference that you could not beat again. Again it is nice to see Jax have a good team, but it is only good against smaller classification schools that they are winning.

Ninja, just trying to gauge Northside Jax's and Jacksonville's abilities. Would either of them be able to beat Hoggard or New Hanover this year? I know Hoggard nor NH are as dominant as the past few years but what do you think??

You can call me all kind of names, but referring to me as Ninja is crossing the line. Lol. A good season would be a 3rd place finish in conference. There are also some cases that your first round opponent is going to take you out in the 1st round of 3aa football.
As far as my ponies. Ewww. Beating 3aa Jacksonville again is going to be hard even with a good team. We are starting to see SWO decreasing in numbers (New coach) and your seeing Jax increase numbers (Coach in his 7th season).

Dirty stallion northside will be a good 2aa team an jacksonville will get beat by a good 3aa school once they finally play school in their own in devison ... if jacksonville was a 2aa schook theybwould do well but their not their 3aa .. could they beat hoggard an new hanover .. i think both could epically northside with their 6ft 3 an 6 ft 4 wr. Jacksonville has very good speed .. but in 3aa u have to be to be able to score 40 points at some point in the playoffs something jacksonville hasnt been able to do since the 90s
Football acholic if you guys had your best.players going both ways vs . 11 one way an 11 another in 2013 yall win a state title an this yr u could compete for one .. but that 11 one way 11 another dont do it ask havelock if it wouldve work for them .. it may work at Scotland county with 1800 kids but not at Jacksonville with 1200 kids
You do understand for the last three years that we do use players both ways right? I agree with you on the 2013 team... Why in the world would they not ride that little back all the way to at least facing havelock in the eastern finally behind that division 2 college offensive line blows my mind. Kid was one of the best zone runners I have seen. With that defense and they would have just ran the ball behind those horses would have kept the ball away from explosive teams like havelock with long drives.

No worries. I love my Cards and want to see them get all the credit that they and the coaching staff deserve. Coach Williams has done a remarkable job turning that program around.

Yes he is... I love my Cards just as much as he loves his Stallions.... He can't stand giving the Cards any love though. Like I have said a million times nobody cheers more for SWO more then me except for one night. That's when they play us.
Dude i pull for Jacksonville when we smoke them in a scrimmage in 94 .. they went to the state title they 4a theirbwas no north side an man yall had 18 -2000 students biggest school east of raleigh .. we ended up 10 -0 no.1 in the state .. u guys were 9 -2 an had a miracle run made it thru the east an went to the 4a title an lost to shelby crest ..... but u guys beat no. 1 northern durham they were ranked no.7 in the nation at the time i believe here is a article from that scrimmage any tine u wanna read it

Because like I said as long as they are not playing the Jacksonville Cardinals I root for them. When we did not make it to the playoffs and you guys won your last state title I was there with my SWO shirt and hat on but you best believe I had my Cardinals drawers on.. Lol
Northside side blows jax away in final 5 minutes. Was told Northside scored 3tds in final 5 minutes and only had one offensive play. Sounds like Northside figured out Jacksonville offense.
