The same team that beat Conley,Rose,Rocky Mt,and Indian River Va is the team you will be facing in the coming weeks. Our players are healthy and well rested now. Our qb is good to go and begging to get back in action. Northeastern will not only win, but win big in the playoffs!!

BigBird,I know you don't agree with my post, but that's OK we are both pulling for the same team.
I can understand that but I had a long conversation with Coach the other day and he explained a lot to me about this seasons ups and downs. I just couldn't quite understand our performance against Havelock. When he explained to me what happened before the contest then it all made sense. Something just didn't seem right that night and now I know why. What happened the following wk against HC was just bad luck. We would've blew them out had Biggie (qb) not got injured. I also asked him about the final 2 minutes of the Edenton game as well. Edenton is an extremely good team that if in 2a would be a favorite to win it all. I believe this is the yr that they beat Tarboro and I'm taking all bets on them
Got to wait and see come Saturday. SWE is right on the line in my opinion. It all depends on how things play out Friday night. Shelby had a surprisingly low number too. I think the cutoff will be around 815 which will cut it razor thin for SWE. I would like to see them go small. It would make the 2A east stacked with some big time matchups. Even West Craven in the mix!
I saw that, I know Otis is happy. Northeastern as a 9 and WRH as a 10 seed, my oh my. If these seedings hold then I feel sorry for the teams that have to host them. Nobody wants NE coming to their town in the first couple of rounds and I know the same is true for WRH.
Bartlett Yancey hosting NE. That's interesting, they've only played 2 teams with winning records and got beat by a 1 win Cummings team.
I haven't looked at it yet. Does this projection take maxpreps rankings into the equation or is this more of that. "I dont know of teams outside the triangle" HSOT BS! Lol
There is something off with it though. I think the rankings are a bit off. Just looking at the 4A projections it isn't adding up from what I've seen in the past as rankings go.
I know coach Moore told me NE was gtd 3 home playoff games and a 2 seed in east with swe going 2aa.
Yeah, I mean, I don't see how a team that isn't a conference champ gets seeded above a conference champ. I guess they go by what it is at the moment and not a true projection of how it will be after Friday. But I guess that will change Friday when SWE curb stomps Beddingfield. The seeding will be a bit different after Friday.

You might want to recheck what you just posted and look at the corrected projections now which have Northeastern a 2seed in the east.
I hope we have the opportunity to give you what you want. That being a shot at the Northeastern Eagles.
Calm down.There not going to put a 8 an 3 team in a3 way tie as a number 2 seed. Not going to happen .Up dates projections as 9 seed
Check the post on this 2A thread that tarheelg started about 2A/2AA Bracketology Projections. He explains how NE is a 2 seed perfectly.

HSOT uses projections on a "as of now" basis. HSOT's projections will look closer to what tarheelg has after Friday night. The "as of now" has NE third in the confrence. When Hertford county and Currituck go big 2AA that leaves NE as the only small 2A champion in the conference giving them a projected #2 seed for the 2A east behind Clinton. We can only speculate where the cut line is from 2A and 2AA. It seems to me Hertford and Currituck will easily be 2AA. Southwest Edgecombe could throw a wrench in the #2 seeding for NE if they are indeed small 2A. We will wait and see Saturday.

Hey Bud I've already explained it up here, there's no convincing some people. You yourself know that I spoke on the phone with Coach Moore and he broke it all down. I'm sure as a coach he knows what he's talking about more than anyone posting up here. Like you said Tarheelg has already broken it all down. Northeastern is the 2a conference champion out of the NEC. Nothing changes that
Tarheelg has SWE going small 2a as a 3 seed in the east with a potential match up against Northeastern. Now I was told from a very good insider at SWE that they would be going 2aa. So I guess we'll just wait and see. Currituck and Hertford County are definitely 2aa.
I also saw those the other night and was confused. A lot of it made no sense. Then I went and noticed it had all been changed drastically.
Well all those Projections will be out the window Saturday by this time. THE WORD will be handed down by the big Kahunas at NCHSAA. They are all probably wrong on the entire Picture. Just 3 days and the smoke will clear.
In my opinion it doesn't really matter where Northeastern is seeded. Our kids have proven that they play their best on the road. In a few weeks weeks I whole heartedly believe Northeastern will be the eastern regional champs. I said it all along, I think we're the best team in the east when we have Biggie leading us. Take note, if you plan on beating Northeastern, you better do it this year. Next year we are going to have a running game that is going to be off the charts to go along with a pretty damn good passing attack. Not to mention we are returning almost everyone on defense.
You could very well be right #1. I'm just relaying word for word where our coach told me we would be seeded after Hertford County and Currituck go 2aa. I consider that a pretty good source.
I'm not saying NE wont be #2. Just that the whole thing will be different as a whole, not any one in particular. I'm pretty sure we wont be #2, or 3, or ....ect. We got good brakes on the bus and the tires are fair. We can take the rodeo on the road. See ya soon, I hope. Hopefully the gate friday night will be good and we can afford the gas.

In your riddle could you please somehow include the Miami Hurricanes in reference to my Northeastern Eagles. Just so you know, we tried our best to be a lower seed but Wrh and Clinton messed it all up. So it's their fault, lol. They weren't supposed to lose the same week we did
In anticipation of our meeting this year, whatever round, I have already started to formulate the little poem. Have a couple well known ones to combine. Just to give a little heads up it is about Eagles and Stallions. Would be great for the Eastern Finals but will have to wait for the brackets Saturday to see where it might fall. The reference to the Miami Hurricanes might be a little challenge but I will try.

I almost made another thread about this game. Forgot this one was here. Only reason was I did remember meeting a Pasquotank player this past Saturday on a visit/tour/game @ Chowan for recruits. He was a humble young man and looked like a good athlete. But boy did he have some resentment for the cross town eagles. So, in lieu of this chance meeting my heart goes out to this young Ptank man Friday night. Hopefully coach Moore will read this and have some compassion and not do a Fatality Mortal combat move on this team for this kids sake! Lol!
Lol, it will be bad no doubt. That being said it won't be as big a blowout as years past because we will be w/o our starting qb.
