Northeastern/Pasquotank

The battle of Pasquotank County will happen tomorrow night at Pasquotank and on Time Warner Cable. Awesome to see the northeast part of the state finally getting some love. Pasquotank got torched by Hertford County last week while Northeastern won a thriller over Edenton. Pasquotank has some athletes in Oatman and the Cowell twins, but their biggest weakness is up front on both sides of the ball. Northeastern leads the all-time series 25-1. I see this being close at the beginning, but don't be surprised if Northeastern pulls away after half. I'm going Northeastern 49-21. Thoughts and predictions?

Regardless of who wins, this is a win win for the NENC and the NCC conference. Thanks to Time Warner and everyone involved from both schools for making this happen. Also good to see Plymouth and Washington play on TV earlier this year as well.

It good for the conference but hopefully next season Time Warner Cable will broadcast the Edenton Holmes/Northeastern game which I predict will be another thriller and show the country that northeastern NC teams play good football also.

I know Hornet, I wish TWC had been here last Friday. That would have have been awesome to see the NE-Holmes game on TV.

As to Thursdays game I have seen both teams in person and I am going with NE 55 Pasquotank 24. P-tank has some awesome athletes and QB is a great guy but NE should pull away.
