It is actually at Northeastern. I am a little gun shy given the regular season result but we did have some issues that game that I believe have been resolved.
Well we lost 3 starters on defense that night we played edenton and they haven't played since....but we will be ready with what we have
Just checked out stats from conference game. Northeastern passed all over the field on Holmes and Holmes ran all over NE. Holmes had 2 turnovers compared to 0 for NE. 160 yds of penalties against Holmes. I see why Goob is nervous. I got the younger Freshwaters. 34-28
I’m not nervous at all. You couldn’t be more wrong. I’m pissed because your program whiffed at the opportunity to play us earlier this year. Now we won’t get a chance to play you because your season will end Friday night in Vanceboro. All you have on us is that we haven’t won a state championship , nothing else. We would’ve embarrassed your dogs in 18,19,and 20. NE would’ve had a running clock on Wrh and you and everyone down there knows that. Unfortunately NE has never had the opportunity to play at the 1a level and rack up multiple state championships. We were a 4a school In a small rural town having to compete in a conference with Greenville,Wilson,Fayetteville,Rocky Mt,etc. When the playoffs came it got way harder playing schools from Raleigh,Durham,Greensboro, and so on. It was far from a level playing field. Your posters are now coming at our coach and I take offense to that. Our Coach Moore is a straight up class act and is loved by all. He has taken our program to new heights and put our program on the map. Any program in this state would love to have him as a coach. We don’t have to pat ourselves on the back and have special shirts made for our coaches. The arrogance is so thick it’ll make one sick

I’m definitely not leaving, I promise u that. I may have to leave these boards in the spring but not until then. If Holmes were to win it wouldn’t be an upset tbh. I’ve said time and time again that Holmes is very good and should be considered as a team that could win the East. I know James Davis mentioned it earlier but I had been keeping it under wraps because I hate when people make excuses before they play or after they lose (example Wrh/Ed). Yes Northeastern will be w/o some of our top players for Fridays game. Sucks for us but will no doubt be a huge benefit for Holmes.
I here you Goob whiteville is in the same boat. We are missing 3 starters on defense our self but we have some 2nd stringers foaming at the mouth just wanting to get in and show what they got. That is a good thing for a good team with a bench where all the players are good. Just like NFL or College their is always someone wanting to take your job. I bet NE is like the pack, some of our 2nd teamers could start on these other teams.

Not a fan of either but let's be real.... NE has ran the east for some years now. If Reidsville wasnt in the east during covid year they would have walked to the state last year. You guys have a hard time respecting there area but I have seen Holmes and NE and it sucks that they have to eliminate one another bc if they were in different pods they would give a lot of these overrated ECC teams hell.
And NE has a REAL pass attack that ECC teams dont see all year. Serious matchup problem for them. Just saying.

Yes sir we have some good kids waiting to get in. We have one in particular that is going to be a star but Coach is holding him back. Our future is very bright to say the least. I’m pulling for the Pack this year. I’d love to see a matchup between our two teams. Thursday night against Holmes is a toss up. Those kids can ball. Their weakness imo is that they struggle defending the pass. During our first meeting this year they we’re having a lot of trouble with the snap. I’m not sure what was going on but there was definitely some kind of communication problem between the center and qb. That really hurt them.
😂😂😂 I feel like this is a trap. Yes I will be at this game 💯. I’ll be Standing By The Fence on Northeastern side Maybe Friday I can go to another game, I’ll have to see who’s scheduled to play if anyone. This is no walk in the park, Holmes would easily win the ECC
Thanks for bringing that up Goob. I didn’t want to bring it up because you know how it sounds—excuses, excuses—but first time around we had 15 bad snaps that resulted in negative yards and/or no play being run.
No problem, if you’d brought it up they’d have attacked you. So many bad snaps that night, it absolutely killed your Aces. You have two good coaches in Hoggard and “basehittin”. They aren’t coming here thinking they’re going to lose
