Duplin County Football is something special. I consider Clinton in the same group cause I think the creek cuts right through that area of Sampson County. Great football in that part of Eastern NC.
We haven’t won the East yet but guaranteed DC.

Me too, Otis. Glad we play in regular season but wish they in ECC.
I got to mention also, I said early at beginning of season that I didn’t think Princetons o line was as good as as last years. In the end I think the biggest difference was WRH d is better than last year.

Yeah wish Clinton was still in the ECC as well. It would make this conference just as strong as it used to be. Ole Goob can say what he wants but he can’t deny that Duplin Co and the ECC will 90% always represent the East.
Just to chime back in,,,,won’t be surprised if there is another Duplin Co team the next year with JK. I hate them with a passion but them boys gonna be good next year for sure.
I will say with 100% certainty that when we played your dogs in rd two that I felt confident that we would score in the final two minutes to win the game. I didn’t think your defense would stop us. I can also say this with confidence and that is that I’m really excited about our team that we’ll have up here next year. I think it’ll be our best in a long time and one that will be one of the favorites to win the east (10%). Now what would be the backlash if I posted a thread like this. When someone from DC does it though it’s like the saying goes “nothing to see here”. I should just go ahead and talk politics and get banned like my guy 91. At least I’d have my dignity because they sure want to silence you if they don’t agree with you. I couldn’t care less who wins this game but at least your teams from the DC3 did hold their own and did better than ours. If I had to bet on this game my money would be on ED.

I do recall after you attended the Wallace-ED game, you posted up here that "NCC top 3" has nothing to worry about when it comes to the ECC. Here we are, playing the same game again, and the "NCC top 3" still has nothing to worry about lol.

Yeah the TD that was called out of bounds really hurt our momentum. But at least you were there watching us!! Now you will have a chance to check out another DC ECC team regardless of who wins.
Yeah y'all have 2 teams left but when we played wrh it wasn't the same team we had all year at the end of the day we didn't have our star running back would have been been a big difference ok so if wrh didn't have they running back last year how far would they have gotten that's my point but we didn't and lost but congratulations to the both of y'all and good luck to whoever wins

This is a good video and this is the kind of kid that I’d love to have playing for me. My buddy Brad Whaley from Duplin County sent me this video last night. He asked me to come to the game Friday and he’d take us out to eat before the game. I would’ve taken him up on the offer but we’re heading out to Tennessee for a much needed vacation. As much as I dislike a few of the ED posters up here this video put a smile on my face. Next season I’m going to try and tone it down some because many of us up here can get to caught up and let our emotions take over. Even though I don’t know him I can say without a doubt that this kids going to be a winner both on and off the field.
I agree James, Shamar was a special player. I think we’ll be ok at the qb position but I hope the kid works hard in the off-season. He will have some really good weapons at the wide receiver positions next year to throw to. If I was Coach Moore I’d be looking to get a really good defensive coach or two on the staff.
I did not but I was hoping to. I listened to it on WNNC and the Maiden guys were broadcasting it. I was surprised that the game wasn’t closer. I didn’t know if Maiden could win but I thought it would be close.

It just might never can tell. We probably take some lumps early next year but by the end of the season ED will be OK. Going to be lots of good teams again next year and I expect y'all will be one of them.
