What do we think boys? Ledford got a challenge from the hornets but pulled away to win. I don't think this one will be as competitive but who knows?

Probably won't make it down to Salisbury, already got a busy weekend planned. Hope everyone travels safe and everyone is injury free. GO BLACK KNIGHTS GO!!!

North by 28. Salisbury may have gotten a lot better since Thomasville lost to them, but we gave that one away. Came down to them making a field goal and our 2nd string kicker having one blocked. I wasn’t impressed.

Been years since we played at Salisbury. How is the visitor side?

Same as when I played fifty years ago. Literally. Steep wooden bleachers with marginal capacity.

When was the last time you were at Salisbury? I went to a game last year at Salisbury and if I remember correctly, they have new metal bleachers on the visitor side now. However, the visitor bathroom is another story. There was no power and all the fans had to go use the bathroom in the dark!

As far as Salisbury as a team, I saw them play East last week and wasn't real impressed with their defense. They have some pretty good DEs but they gave up some yardage to East up the middle. They also gave two passing TDs. East actually pulled to within 21-17 in the 4th quarter and traded TDs until Salisbury put the game out of reach with about 2 minutes left with a long TD run. So I don't believe ND will have too much trouble with them.

The seats may be aluminum. I was there last year. But the configuration is the same. Unsafe for senior citizens and small children. Large gaps under the benches and steep climb. Wouldn’t meet code today for a good reason.

The team played a much more disciplined game tonight. I only recall one unsportsmanlike penalty... and that was called on ..........drumroll please......... ND’s coaching staff. Arguing a defensive holding penalty, that when accessed, would still have had Salisbury in a 4th down situation... dumb.

In other news... East Duplin lost to James Kenan by 20 points tonight. That changes the face of 2AA east quite a bit. The other teams in the ECC smell blood in the water!

I was standing at the fence behind coaches. The call was BS for sure. Coach Flynn tells his player to shake it off that was good coverage and the official deems that worthy of Unsportsmanlike conduct!!

Officials have delicate sensibilities sometimes. Not a good profession to have if you're thin skinned. Also coaching lol. Fans know everything.

I would say the ED loss would help ND in the rankings and seedings after this weeks games, also wonder if Tabors win over previously unbeaten, and currently ranked Parkland; would help raise our strength of schedule(for max preps rankings)?

Yes I said the same thing in CCC thread. I fear that the best we can end up is #3 in 2AA East. I don't think we can pass South Granville or Randleman as they both should go unbeaten but SW Edgecombe still has powerful Tarboro left so I see Tarboro winning that one!!

Also if we were fortunate to make the 4th round I'm saying we would take a throng of people to Randleman!!

No question about it. We filled the visitor’s stands up at East Duplin. I’d rather go to Randleman than South Granville. Looks like S. Granville plays on a dual baseball/football field. Old school, so kind of nostalgic, but probably a pain since you can’t drag too many bleachers over to the visitors side.

With who they have remaining to play doesn't look like Randleman will jump South Granville.
