I'd have Davie in over West Forsyth and North Davidson in over Catholic. Catholic is one of the better teams in 4A, but haven't been very impressive lately. I think this week we'll start to see Catholic playing better football.
However, the top 5 is spot on.

I'm anxious about the Dudley-Davie game. I think that will show a lot.

Catholic is just one of the programs that is always going to be in the mix.

They always will be, but at this point in the season Week 3, I see Davie and North Davidson as a step ahead, now I expect that to change come November, but looking at the first two weeks they have been more impressive.
Also Myers Park too with a pretty nice win over Ardrey Kell last week, they look poised to make some noise in Charlotte this year.

Sure wish the NCHSAA used a poll with some credible folks that actually are in tune with NC football as it relates to possible playoff seedings.

Myers park looked good to me at those Saturday games week 1. CC not belonging in therr right now. Davie and or ND need to be in there. WF AND EF THIS WEEK in a good one. Mallard Crk with another tough one, Scotland host Marlboro in the annual border war, it'll be packed here for that one. Raleigh schooks akways a question mark..

Oh come on JM you know that makes too much sense to do. Also I don't believe teams should be seeded on rankings, I think they should be seeded on record. If they have the same record, coin flip. No need for rankings.

This year i believe maxpreps instead of draws for playoff seeding will be used. Ofcourse conf finish record , head to head, record come first but then its the maxpreps.

We just need to play to our ability and stay focused. The offense needs to get better week by week. Not overly concerned now. no need to peak in week 2. I think the d is truly solid as long as we keep everyone healthy cannot say enough about the front 7. I will take them anytime- any day.

Scotland will be just fine I think. Going undefeated should solve a number of your worries.

I think he is fine just a pre-caution. I must commend Coach Bailey for putting the kid first. I'm critical of his football decisions at times but he seems to be a very decent man.

He has had a deep thigh bruise limiting his playing time. Just wondering if it was getting better.

I heard he could have played friday if needed. I thought marlboro co would be a game we would need him but they seem to be struggling so he might see limited action this week or none at all if there is any chance of him re-aggravating it. I'm sure he wants to get after it.
