Deana,WRH might be a little high,but coach will have the dogs ready for a good conference finish and a run at state.

Oh my, no southwest stalllllliiiiioooonn nnnssssssss?!?!? I thought since they finally managed to beat Wallace they would automatically go to #1 to hear some of the Sw posters.Lol

No disrespect to the poster of the poll or WRH but....SWO goes to WRH and wins, which is not easy to do. WRH loses decisively to Havelock and barely gets by a 1-3 Jax NS team. SWO loses to the team you have ranked 3rd 22-21 on a call a the end of the game to go for the win not force OT, but somehow you still rank WRH ahead of SWO? SWO other loss was to undefeated 3A Jacksonville that the previous week also beat #3 ranked East Duplin. I really am having trouble seeing the logic.

Thanks dogs79, right after I posted that I realized I am graduate of SWO and "failing to see the logic" is part of our heritage. It is going to be an exciting season and the great thing about high school football, anything can happen. Best of luck to WRH the rest of the way and if we meet again this season it will be a great opportunity for both teams.

My point was really meant to be more about if you are going to have a 2-2 team in the top 10 how did you arrive at that 2-2 team being WRH over SWO. Polls are for the fans no question so it's just strictly fun talk, not meant to be serious. To all my fellow NC high school football fans be safe with Florence bearing down on you. I have a lot of family and friends in Onslow County which appears to have a bullseye on it's back. Nothing is more important than life, get out of there is you can.
