Should be one great match up.
Most folks on here saying Monroe is best team in 2a.
And they are the fastest.
Well i belive they will face best front 7 on defense they have seen.
I look at there sch. And think they really havent played anybody but FH, and FH is better now then when they played.
West Charlotte would jave been the best they faced., and they wouldnt make that game up.
This will be a game with speed all over field. Shelby dont need to turn ball over, our D needs to cause Monroe to turnover ball.
Im thinking 38 27. Shelby

Didnt they begin a game with West Charlotte that was canceled? Your front 7 is better than 3A West Charlotte, who almost beat Mallard Creek?

They also scrimmaged Crest no?

The West Charlotte/Monroe game I believe was started but a storm hit early 1st Quarter and the game never resumed.

It was scoreless and ended late first quarter with Monroe down in the red zone.

You could be right as 2A is loaded with good teams. Shelby may never play Monroe again with them already having an enrollment of 1200. Only common opponent is Burns and Monroe really handled them as they have everybody they played.Hopefully it is a good game. One positive for Shelby is we are at home and do not have to go through Charlotte on Friday afternoon.

I didn't go to the Monroe game but after watching some highlights Shelby should have a good chance especially playing at home. West was able to run on them look like Fleming had lot of yards. West Stokes fan-hudl

Shelby will have to play a complete game to win; meaning win the turnover battle and keep the penalties to a minimum.

Yes in a half of football our front 7 (and team) was 31 to 21 better than West Charlotte (and we made lots of mistakes).

Burns best player (QB/LB) didn't play as well as Burns RB 1. JV QB played QB and the QB that started the year but got hurt early in the season played WR. Not sure why they didn't put him back at QB for that game.... but word is Monroe essentially played Burns JV which explains the score.

West Charlotte coach said he couldn’t come back and play on Saturday because he didn’t have a baby sitter.. Monroe coaches couldn’t do Monday because of holiday plans… West Charlotte coach knew what he was doing by not coming back on Saturday..
