Millbrook Brawl

Last night Millbrook played a great game and they are well coached and played with great discipline. After the game an angry Millbrook parent sucker punched the Millbrook HC. After the punch the players and some parents got into an ugly brawl. At least 40 cops came to break it up.

It was a very emotional game and I know it was a letdown as Millbrook was still alive until under a min left in the game.
HS coaches put up with a lot and most do a tremendous job. No coach deserves this. Last night we saw the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. Nothing more frustrating than parents that think they know more than the coaches. Hope the coach is ok.

I've seen the potential for this to happen several times. It's just nuts how parents just get nuts especially in the playoffs.

@nepsy7 will remember it better but think it was at Mallard Creek when they lost to Vance when the Kelly kid was QB and it gotta nuts as the coaches were leaving the field post game. Will never understand adults being that caught up in a HS football game.

A mother told the coach that they would have won if her son played. The coach gave a very good response and said if is playing the players he feels gives them the best chance to win. The husband pulls the lady back then punches him in face. I hope he was arrested.
Parents expect their kids to make good decisions and to deal with adversity. Well we have to do the same.
