Just came across this on NCHSAA:

http://www.nchsaa.org/news/2016-11-...ed-seed-football-will-include-week-13-results

Does this change anything as far as the West/Midwest part of the state goes? Could some teams who are close to each other in the playoff seeding projections switch places depending on these results?

I'd imagine some teams would be quite upset if they dropped in MaxPreps rankings due to being on a bye and lose the chance of a home game.

Erwin has two opponents in TN playing tonight in their playoffs. Should those teams win, Erwin could jump Marvin Ridge since they are close in the rankings.

Every win by an opponent matters, Erwin isn't all that far behind MR, like 1 point so something.
