Undefeated West Forsyth had a tougher schedule than 2 loss Butler; at first they were seeded ahead of West until they realize that WEST beat The Piedmont Champ 6-0 conf. Mt Tabor; they beat Northern Piedmont Champ South Iredell 6-0 conf.. and they beat a 10-0 #6 ranked Glenn(on the road) and a pretty darn good East Forsyth team(On the Road) who can do damage In playoffs. Butler had a terrible loss to Hickory Ridge who got punked by Porter Ridge. Thank God they fixed it....

It involves much more than just West Forysth, teams in 1A and 2A were out that should've been in.
WF's win over Glenn should change their seeding, but not sure they'd leap Butler.

They have 71st at 7-4 and they are 8-3 so that is a problem. No Harding is the best team in 4a based on what we have seen and Hoggard is probably #2 with SC #3 if they are doing this based on results.

2015: WF 14-13 over North Meck 1st round. NM 7-4 regular season. Finished fourth in conference.
WF 20-3 over Myers Park 2d round. MP 6-5 regular season. Finished fourth in conference.
2014: WF lost 45-17 to Hough 1st round. Hough 8-3 regular season.
2013: WF 27-14 over Vance 1st round. Vance 6-5 regular season.
WF lost 48-7 to Butler 3d round. Butler lost 56-14 next round to Mallard Creek.
2012: WF lost 49-0 to Butler 1st round.

2012-2015 Meck County teams won state 4AA championship.

I don't think S Caldwell at 1-10 getting a 2 seed has anything to do with MaxPreps. That is the NCHSAA treating them as a conference champion because they finished above the only other 4A school in a split conference. They are one of two 'conference champs' in the 4A West, thus the 2 seed. Stupid rule that has been in effect for a while.
