I know this isn't exactly 4A playoff talk, but he did recruit a decent amount out of NC. I know he will have fertile recruiting ground in south Florida, but NC does have some of the best linebackers and defensive ends around that were highly sought after. You think some NC standouts will be lured to south Florida(yeah I know alot of people would like them to stay home but nc players are not known to be committed to any conference or region) based on his recruiting relationship to NC?

I have been to a game at Miami and the game day experience may be the biggest obstacle to overcome when going against FSU, Clemson, and the SEC along with UNC or State when they are winning.

Great man. Wish him the best.

Really surprised he made that move. Hot bed for recruiting but that is going to be a tough spot. Facilities are poor, basically a commuter school. Will they spend the money to fix it?

Miami on campus actually just upgraded their facilities. Google them, the stadium got renovated too, and is getting more renovations after Dolphins finish their season. Facilities are totally fine.
Define commuter school...like UNCC commuter?

I think Sun LIfe Stadium (home of UM and Miami Dolphins) to UM is a good haul according to google map....IT IS 30 MIN drive to the stadium from college campus. What's more do all students have cars? If not, they can take a bus which takes almost 2 hrs due to many stops. ......very different from UGA which has stadium right on campus like UNC ....Dookies and many other universities in the South. That makes it more diffcult for players to go to Miami. I am not sure if UM could build a stadium in that area.....safe? I think they tore Orange Bowl Stadium down.

reminds me of a UNCC, not exactly commuter, but lots of locals.

Same with NC State, Carter Finley is off campus as well not sure if it's 30 minutes.
Found a list of stadiums by distance to their campus, the distance of the top few on the list is surprising...UMASS is unbelievable, but yeah Miami is up there.

If Richt wins at Miami I feel like the people will come, but you must win to draw crowds.
Even in the OB, if you weren't winning they didn't come. Nothing will come close to the atmosphere the OB could produce.

Carter Finley is a heck lot closer to NCSU compare to Miami. Traffic is quite bit worse in Miami eh? I would say so but do understand where you are coming from (Chopper 47)
