Is this true or some bs. Co worker from Roswell just told me MC was coming to GA.

Personally i figured MC would play non conference in NC only this year. Whats the real scoop

How do these GA ppl know soo much about Charlotte fb particularly MC? 7 on 7 camps? Rival and scout camps??

Btango do you think Roswell would beat MC 4 out of 5 times in the past 5 years? Thats all these ppl talk about

Tis the season for OOS football game rumors. Its typically message board garbage that people pick up and run with.

In regards to Roswell they have had their new head coach for less than 24 hours. I believe they have more than enough to keep them busy.

2012 and 2013 MC wins. 2014-2016 depends on when and where they play but give the edge to Roswell especially this past season. MC seems to start slow and a school in Georgia is going to be much more advanced early in the season with their spring football which will allow a spring game in 2017. If they play in a spring game they will lose four quarters of scrimmage in the preseason.

Umm. Still think 2015 MC wins. That Oline would had did severe damage to Roswell defense. Still see MC winning with a ball control style against them

Fair enough. If Roswell has a vertical passing game it makes it tougher on MC. If Roswell was able to contain Smith from getting the long runs and he was not on passing the ball that is a big up for Roswell. Who knows. That is why I like to see games like that between very good teams that do not have a lot of common opponents. Same reason I do not care as much about non conference games for teams that will meet in the playoffs if they are good enough. Would prefer to see them play a team that they will not play except in the regular season.

I agree. Thats why i hope more teams will play better quality schools. What are the chances NC finally does spring ball?

Yes period.

Yes period.

Numerous players on those programs are starters @ the next level. One of them on a NFL roster.

The Hornets would have had their hands full. Years 12,13 & 14 Roswell was average. Records of 3-7, 4-6 and 8-4 they would have been destroyed. Although the last 2 years, they have been 2nd best in the State of Georgia.

Zero. It is probably getting ready to change back from what they are doing now to what we use to do, skill development. The votes are in and should know the first weekend of February.

Right why not NC got to step it up and get in the modern time in football. Come on coaches,AD's and the NCHSAA let get it together. Thanks.

What NC need to step up is coaches not teaching a full load, more pay for assistants as well as some HC. Having sport related weightroom training during the day and do a good job of getting kids in class.

We more behind on training than spring ball. When you have a kid that plays multi sports, but cannot train yearly, you cannot develop that 2nd tier kid that can help you win. Hard to get them afterschool when they are playing other sports, which we all want them to do.

Goto SC, the big schools first have a full time weight room guy. This guy do not coach, just trains them. Then you have someone like Dorman, that have All OL in one class. This is where we are behind.

1whoknows knows. His last few sentences are the biggest issues. Ask a college coach and they will tell you that NC linemen, especially OL, are behind other states.

I am not a big time believer in full spring practice but I am 100% in support of the coaches having more time with the athletes and the athletes having more options during school hours. Also, a coach should be able to transport a student athlete to any combine or camp that the athlete wishes to attend.

1000% agree and those schools in NC thatvare having sucess have many of those pieces in place.
