Asheville at Pisgah: Will we turn the ball over like we have the first 2 games or not? Thats the question, if Asheville doesnt turn the ball over, they win. Pisgah will be jacked up playing on tv and at home, but they havent played anybody with even a hint of athleticism so far. Asheville comes off a loss where if they gained literally another 2 feet they would have won, but thats the way it goes. Pisgah will try to run it down our throat probably, but Asheville will spread it out and throw it all over the field (I cant believe I said that and im not lying) As usual, Asheville will try to use its speed and size (in spots) to take advantage of any mismatches. Must win for Asheville. Asheville 35-21.
Owen at Reynolds: Finally a breather for Reynolds. If Owen had Sidney Gibbs, then Reynolds would win by 28, but they dont, so Reynolds by 35+. However, Shane Laws wont let it get too out of hand. Reynolds 56-7.
Smoky Mountain at Enka: No clue about what Smoky Mountain has, but enka by 7 just because. Enka 20-15
Erwin at Ooltewah: Well last year Ooltewah beat the hell out of Erwin at Erwin, this year they have to go to Tennessee after a humiliating loss to Mountain Heritage last week. Ooltewah MAY not be as good as last year as evident by their first game where they got beat by 33, but Tennessee football is good and im afraid to say WNC football isnt that good by comparison. Erwin can score, there is no doubt about that, but their defense is giving up 50 points a game in this early schedule. It shocked me to see Mountain Heritage beat Erwin at all, let alone the way they did it. We were up in the stands looking at the score on score stream saying "there is no way that is right". If this one also gets out of hand, someone may have to go check on AP from the citizen times cause he may go into depression. Erwin falls to 1-2 with 2 more very good opponents coming the following 2 weeks. Ooltewah 42-28.
Tuscola at McDowell: Is tuscola actually good or are they playing just absolutely terrible teams? McDowell probably wont pose much of a challenge, but thats a long bus ride. Tuscola 28-6
North Buncombe at Mountain Heritage: Mountain Heritage coming off a very big win. I definitely didnt see that coming. North Buncombe will provide no challenge. Mountain Heritage is currently ranked as the best in the west poll which I assume is the first time in human history they have been considered the best team in WNC. Do I think they are now? Probably not, but they are 2-0 and have a quality win, nobody else can say that. Mountain Heritage 49-10.
East Rutherford at Roberson: I dont think I would ever pick Roberson so Im not going to pick them now. East Rutherford because its easy to not like Roberson and they probably have great athletes. 28-14.
