please someone post results and how teams looked at the MAC Jamboree at ACR tonight, thanks! I am on vacation and can't make it.

Left durning Erwin scrimmage. They scored once before I left. AHS and Murphy was a battle. Both teams scored once till murphys last play of game and scored. A lot of back ups was in for both teams after the first scores. AHS O looked pretty good and moved the ball well. Had at least 100 yards of flags today. Have to clean that up, dropped a wide open 50 yard pass with no coverage on him what so ever... Plays like that have to be made in the season. Overall all being the first scrimmage I think it went well.
Erwin looked alright. Not too sure there was anything to really be taken from the scrimmage other than Erwin didn't look like a team that would be tested by NB McDowell or Enka. Watched one series of the Reynolds scrimmage, and almost all of Asheville.
Don't think any of the 3 in Mac should be in the top 10 of any poll at this point.

Murphy looked very solid mbdfan. Was impressed with their tailback #34 and their toughness on defense. They went toe-to-toe with Asheville. Was hard to tell with Asheville because of all of the penalties. After seeing all 3, Reynolds looks like the all-around best team to me at this point.
Murphy is well coached, and physical. All the hype they are getting is well deserved. I don't know much about yalls conference other than Rville and swain are usually tough. Yalls QB has a cannon
Asheville's offense was pitiful in my opinion. And the receiver didn't drop a td pass the QB who was very bad under threw the ball by ten yards. Asheville had penalties almost every other offensive play and thats a big problem. Murphy looked very strong for a 1a school. Erwin and Asheville looked very small. Didn't stay for the Reynolds scrimmage. I know it was just one scrimmage but Asheville's offense has a long way to go and all the penalties didn't help them.

i thought acr looked big, physical and fast. north henderson was overmatched in this one. rockets may drop 2 early but by the end of the year will be a load
How about being supportive. That's one issue with cougar fans. It's the first scrimmage and if you played football before you don't start out blazing. That's why there is camp..scrimmages. You will one of the individual that will be made a believer when the Cougars start clicking. It's pitiful for you to make a post like that after the first scrimmage. Show some support.
I'm very supportive and hope everything is worked out and I will be at every game no matter what! I gave my opinion of the scrimmage and I made the point that it was only a scrimmage. Sorry you didn't like my take on the scrimmage.
Acr played the worst team there by far. I would expect them to look outstanding against North Henderson.
Your post was very negative. Not sure what your definition of supportive. But okay.

I thought the O moved the ball pretty well. Doesn't show because they only played 10 plays. They would move it 40yds and then a flag. They had to make up for every flag.
It's all. It's too many of our young men are being killed and killing each other. The last thing our young men need in this day and time. When we as a people can figure that out we will be better off. We must and have to do better. Regardless of what our boys do or don't do on the field we should always be encouraging. In person and on this blog. It is my prayer that we grasp this one day. No need to apologize. Just something we all need to be mindful off. Have a blessed day.
Playing in a scrimmage with the only other 2 good teams in your conference sitting there watching you is stupid. Asheville is learning a new offense and I'm certain there will be some growing pains especially early but from what I heard there was nothing for Asheville fans to be proud of after last night.
We better get the bigger picture. You might not have something to be proud of but I am. Once again. Cougar fans are the worst. I hate to admit because I played ball and graduated from Asheville. It's time for us to adopt a different mind set.
We also need to call stuff for what it is. Babying kids and telling them they are all winners doesn't help anything either. Luckily it's only early August.
Are you serious? You talked more junk about Erwin last year than Trump talks about Hillary. The only thing that shut you up was your mysterious disappearing act after the Erwin game.
We haven't been to a 4th round game in 9 years. The kids have gotten softer over the years. I'll always be a cougar but you can see a shift in the attitudes over the last several years. Need I remind you of the Erwin game last year?

The reputation is true and real about Cougar fans. We don't support our kids. How about somebody sponsoring a day of mentoring for our young. We have to get out of the quick sand. I lost my brother in 2011. I understand that life is much bigger than high school football.
However, you refuse to admit all of the smack you talked specifically about Erwin last season. This has nothing to do with the loss of life or anything near that level of importance. This is a high school football board.
When you run your mouth non stop about other teams you come back and take what's coming. You can't act like it never happened, because clearly it did happen.

I don't have a problem admitting anything. I am a Carolina fan and would never root for duke. I am a cougar fan and would never root for Erwin...I'm not stuck in last year. I have talked just as much smack on here than anyone but I know understand the power words have so I have chosen to be positive...Guess you have not lived long enough to realize we learn everyday. But whatever.....
If you want people to accept your new found positivity. Then you should probably start by making amends on the words you chose last year. Not by avoiding them.
