SWO begins their quest for #5. Need a ring for each finger. Billy and Melvin should be in rare form tonight at Phil Padgett Stadium. Having watched my Stallions in their last regular season game, clinching the Conference Championship and a good seeding in the playoffs I at least have a visual reference on the players. I really like to watch the line play, both Off and Def. #85 Alexander at LB was a treat. He brings it every play.

Lookin back I dont think we have ever played Bertie. They were 3A for a long time winning 2 state titles in 1995 and 2000. For some reason their enrollment took a nose dive and they havnt been the same since. The years they did make the playoffs it was one-and-done. Hate to say it but History repeats its self tonight.

The Falcons should be at the Corral. Its over a 2 hour trip from Windsor down 17. Could be a longer ride back to check in the football gear and check out the BBall stuff. Safe trip to the team and all fans. We will probably be on the road next week down to South Columbus baring a BIG upset. Another couple home games would be nice, although we do better in the playoff away.

Coach Dempsey commin up with info about tonights game with Bertie .. Here is Coach

We played hard last week, harder than some games before.

We had a lot of different guys playin time and some got rest, its been like that in conference play.

Our bracket is LOaded

Bertie has a good hard running back. They will be going with the 3rd string QB as the first string is out. The second string QB is off the team. They have there wide reciever in at QB so probably will be running a lot tonight.

Their OF line is pretty good. We are goin to be bigger and should dominate the line.

On defense they have a lot going both ways. Their LB blitzes well. They will have their best players on the field.

They go for 2 quite a bit and kick offsides a lot so I dont think they have a kicking game. We will expect it every time.

Our Off has to hold on to the ball. Its gonna be wet and muggy. I told our backs to not take long strides and keep you feet under you.

I think they will have a hard time tackling us. Its gonna be a good ole muddy, sloppy game.

I dont know how effecive Jordan will be tonight with the conditions. Dougan our BIG back will do better.

Defense has to just make tackles.
