Lincoln county outlook?

Usually hear a lot bout Lincoln co schools but it's been kinda quiet. What's the season outlook for these teams other than EL and Lincolnton having a close battle with WL and North just pushing to have winning seasons?

Burkeforreal, East Lincoln should be good, again. I don't know what North Lincoln or West Lincoln has. Lincolnton has some skill in their backfield and a good passing game but I heard some discouraging news from one of our fans, last week, who told me our defense needs considerable work. The first thing that came to mind when I heard this is perhaps we need to work on going to the ball, quickly, and tackling.

Lincolnton lost some good kids at Dline and LB to graduation. The secondary should be fine. East Lincoln is coming back to earth but will still be in the hunt for first place in the conference. The losses of Chazz Surratt and Coleton Banks is huge. Byus has a system that works regardless of who plays QB.

I think Lincolnton or bust, East Lincoln lost one of the best players in the state to graduation, I believe there will be some bumps and bruises early but a team that can be very successful as the season progresses. A very good senior class, that has a lot of pride, hoping for a good season. NL lost a lot to graduation and I believe had some leave for the private school, low numbers and a tough conference, if they can pull a few out and build some confidence in the non conference may have some success late. WL I'm sure will be big and physical, and have a running back that rather run through you than around you. Lincolnton is loaaaaaaaaaded, bottom line, going to be tough for any team to match up with them athletically. Good luck to all the teams.

E. Lincoln get's a game straight out of the gate that will be a lot tougher than many of their fans probably realize. Huss is really athletic with a ton of returning players who started last year. Huss should be much improved and should make some noise in their conference this year. East has a great coach however and he will get the most out of his squad. First game should be a good test and challenge to see where they are early in season.

I'd play 2nd and 3rd string right out the gate if i was playing them to avoid injuries and not humiliate the players and parents of that team. They never was a football school prob never will be

I would jump to that conclusion. 1st game of the year and Huss is not a bad team

Big, big test coming for Lincolnton. South Point is a brutal bunch. If you like to see how physical football is played attend a game in Belmont. SP shutdown 32-0 and two time champ Crest. Lincolnton will have a difficult time stopping the SP run attack.

WL vrs NorthL - what's up? Good game or sissy fight of a game?

Seeing West lost to what others,not me, discribed as an aweful Draughn team, looking like anyone's game.

SP will take Lincolnton but I believe they'll at least score 2 or 3 times.

Have no idea what's going on with East. Hadn't looked at the scedule

Lincolnton has lots of speed and is very explosive. I don't see anyone in their conference stopping their offense. The defense is not as good right now but I expect it to improve throughout the season. We will have a better idea of how strong they are this week when they face South Point.
