Look, Lexington has not even come close to playing the type of team they will see in North Davidson. Lexington has beaten two terrible teams in Wheatmore and Central Davidson and a rebuilding team in Randelman. Lexington will bring about 30 players to Welcome on Friday (and I bet their best will play both ways) against an ND team with about 70. That makes a HUGE difference. Can Lexington get to the North QB, because if they can't he will light them up. Can the Jackets stop North RB (and West Virginia commit) Kennedy McKoy, because nobody has yet. How big are the Yellow Jacket DB's, because North usually runs 4 to 5 wide and two of their receivers are around 6'4/6'5" tall. They have two other receivers that look like linebackers. The kicking game for North is outstanding. If they get to their opponents 35 yard line they have a very good chance of getting 3 points.
Where this game will favor the Knights greatly is in the "depth" department. Where the Jackets may have to keep guys out there for a long time, the Knights can substitute freely. I am in no way saying the Yellow Jackets have no chance to win this game, because every Friday night you have to suit up and play ball and ANYTHING can happen. However North Davidson is better than ANY of the three teams combined that Lexington has played so far.
