He will bring a Hard nose type mentality but he is a players type of coach. the connection and such he creates will be what matters most. I think he one of the most respected guys within Iredell/Catawba co areas.

Travis is a great guy. Players coach. The Lakewood community will love him and his worth ethic, and the staff if still intact will be very strong.

Just did a Interview with Coach Elliott on my personal FB account and He seem optimistic and he hasnt had a lot of time yet with kids but few days but it seem like he going try keep the transition simple n easy as possible for the players so they aint trying learn so much in short window. Looks like everyone is on board - He did say everyone on staff but him is a LAKEWOOD alum but I think i like what he said he said he doesnt want them get 1 way vision n loose focus on the bigger picture. I think he also going do well with MS kids as well and ONE big thing for him is some of these cats will be with him 2-4 years esp since they are so YOUNG so a great situation to come into
