Don't know if this is even worth starting a thread for but I guess I will go ahead and do it out of board boredom. Ho Hum, a yawner run away by the Red Raiders. Can't predict the score but it will be way too many for the Raiders, hardly any for the whatever they call themselves Lake Norman preppy boys.

LN Charter will not be able to handle the kicks to the chest and the helmet ripping off.SP 42 LN 6.

Interesting projection....on another site, their computer is projecting East Gaston at South Point in round 1 of the playoffs. This would be a big windfall $ wise for both programs. We have a lot of work to do just to make the playoffs, but I would love to see an EG-SP playoff game.

EG....so would I. Still would like to see the new back go up against a couple decent HS defenses. With the right gameplan, EG could surprise and keep it close.....I don't think that right gameplan will happen though, so I'd estimate it'd be another spanking. At least it'd be a first round game with full stands and the other team isn't 4-7.

And that's just the cheerleaders! Wait til the team gets a hold of em.
I believe it after seeing the SP cheerleaders. If they would have had pads on instead of the overalls I wouldn't have been able to tell them apart.

SHS, I'm pretty comfortable with the thought that none of the LNC adult fans will come down to field level and abuse our kids. I try to stay positive.

Did you really just say that about my 18 yr old daughter and her friends. You guys need to develop some class. That is beyond low. Go Crest!

SP strikes first on a pick 6. The Knights on their first possession didn't seemed to be intimidated by the Raiders but the interception may force them to reconsider.

SP 7
LKN 0

After a slow start, the SP offense has finally found some rhythm and adjusted to the LNC defense. The Knights have helped with several penalties on late hits.

SP 28
LKN 0

Another TD (Nolan Wilson) for the Raiders right before halftime - PAT no good. Play of the drive - On 3rd and 10 at the SP 27, King connects on a pass to Davis Ray all the way to the LKN 24. Raiders will also have the ball to start the 2nd half.

South Point 34 (0:47 left in half)
LN Charter 0

Wilson now in at QB to start the 2nd half. Etherton scored his 4th TD of the night on the Raiders' 2nd possession of the half.

SP 41
LKN 0

Knights were in SP territory (near the SP 20) when pass intercepted by the Raiders (JT Starr) in the endzone. Lee in at QB for SP as well as backups.

Final 48 - 0. SP is your Big South champs thanks to the loss by Forestview tonight! Two game lead with two to play and we own all the head to head tiebreakers.

Congrats...you earned it, I guess. The other teams in the conference haven't put up much of a fight!

Anybody have an update on Ben Washam? Looked like he reinjured the same shoulder. I liked seeing Brandon in on offense even though he didn't get the ball. Brandon, Tinker, and Leeper need to get more involved. All three are capable of making big plays.
