The game was a little closer than the score indicates. Halifax led 24-8 at the half after scoring late in the 2nd Qtr. Parrott pulled to within 16-8 early in the 2nd with a nice drive. Halifax was able to step up the defensive pressure in the second half and shut down Parrotts passing game. Halifax scored one defensive touchdown on an interception return and also returned a punt for a score.
Halifax improves to 6-1 overall and 4-0 in the North division. They travel to Rocky Mount next Thursday for a North division title game.
