Should be a great game. A rematch of the 2013 Eastern final. Both teams are hard nosed and physical. Thoughts?

My thoughts are the same as last week when I warned GC not to sleep on Croatan. The ECC had three really good teams this year. NSJ isn't your typical #9 seed. Andrews better not take them lightly.

We don't. In many ways I felt they were the tougher matchup with us than Monroe was 2 years ago. Definitely a lot of respect for them. No one in HP takes anyone for granted, as we remember the Salisbury game implosion 3 years ago.

Andrews is really good but not disciplined enough for any of us Andrews fans to overlook anybody. We also know that Northside would have been a much higher seed if not for the forfeits from earlier in the year. Northside is easily a top 3-4 team in the east year in and year out. Trust, we aren't overlooking then and are quite in tune with the fact that it will be a war, same as 2013 in the 3rd round (we beat Washington in the eastern final).

Still sticking with my prediction Andrews 42 Northside Jacksonville 10

I am going 21-7 Andrews. Them Red Raiders grind the clock keep Northside offense off the field.

I played against Gilchrist and Brand. Is the same coach still at Andrews, if so. You don't run the spread no more?

PAC 6 was very weak this year. It will show tonight. Heard the field was nearly unplayable because of mud. This could also play a big factor.

Northside 28-21.

From results posted so far in playoffs PAC 6 looks like they were down some. I believe if field is muddy then it will favor Andrews as they just keep pounding. Good luck to the Red Raiders,

On a wet track in a cold stadium that brings wind right in on you along with a band that will not let up:

Andrews 20-14

I actually have NS in this one too. The PAC6 could not have done much to prepare Andrews for the tough teams they can potentially see in the playoffs, and their first rd game was slight evidence. I think NS surprises them. They are equally as physical.

Maybe PAC 6 wasn't great but Andrews nonconference schedule wasn't chopped liver. Southwest Guilford still in 4A playoffs as well as Reidsville in 2A. . Lost what looks like a close one to SG and spanked Reidsville. And their 1st round game was against Randleman a conference foe who knew going in exactly what Red Raiders game is all about. I do not think Andrews will be the SC but I do believe they will be a tough out. We will see in a few hours.

Wow I am taking up for Andrews! Can't wait for baseball season.

Andrews actually had one of the highest rated schelude in high 2A, they played three 4A school with two of them are still inplay-offs, also played and beat the brakes off Reidsville and Cummings which are also still in play-offs. No weak schelude just a weak PAC6. We are prepared, look at score tonight.

Wasn't knocking the entire schedule, just the "what have you done for me lately" portion. Maybe the tough beginning carries over.

Anyone going to this game please report any real time /fina scores here or on ScoreStream which is a way to keep up with a lot of games at a glance

Northside 28 - andrews 21 .. andreaws can talk about their schdule all they want they dont play havelock like northaode does an hacelock would beat andrews an any one on andrew schdule by 45 .. this will be thwir 6 straight title appearance I believe an they thw onky team to beat northaide by more than 1 tds .. good luck with that

And Havelock beat Northside 43-0. So I guess you are saying that Northside is 2 pts better than anybody on Andrews' schedule? If you are going to use an example then pick a game they won against a good team or at least played with. Not to get in a shouting match with anyone but I don't think being a 2 pt favorite is a ringing endorsement?

And Andrews only loss is to a 4A playoff team by 7? We will all find out by 10:30 or so.

Seriously anybody want to go to a batting cage?

I am going to stick with Andrews. Northside offense will not be on the field much. I hope they got beef on the line to stop that ground attack. If not quick game. Andrews wins.

Kidd I am ready for Pac 6 baseball too.

ninja, win or lose you say the same sh*t every year. You use havelock as your benchmark for the whole state. Havelock is a great program in 3A, we get it. But that has zero to do with 2A. You said the same thing in 2013 before Andrews played Washington in the regional final saying how good Washington was because they gave Havelock their closest game in the season and then Andrews proceeded to beat Washington 42-14 (worse than Havelock beat Washington that year by the way) in the eastern final on their way to a state title. Northside is s great program. Last thing they need is you vouching for them. If I were you, I'd be worrying about SWO. They had a stellar year.

Dayum.......

Also of note: Havelock is getting all they can handle and them some against Eden Morehead who isn't exactly a state power here in the triad. Havelock just scored to tie it up 21-21. Reidsville beat Morehead by 10 earlier in the year, Andrews best Reidsville by 45. So that makes Andrews about 55 points better than Havelock right Ninja.

Goingthdistabce 7 statw title games the last 15 yrs bro an 9 eastern finals ... we ok with missing 1 yrs bro .. yall 3 decades from riching them numbers an I bet your school is 30 yrs older than ours hahahahahahahaha

Look in the record books bro. Same amount of state titles as you guys. Most playoff appearances of any high school in North Carolina. Lead the state in NFL players.

I don't keep up with regional titles or runner ups. Winners don't celebrate "almost."

And the fact you on the boards tonight cheering and smearing other teams lets you know real quick where you and your program are. Call it one year, you shouldn't miss the playoffs in this watered down system. Shows y'all were trash.

Distance What was final? Just wanna see how close I was in my prognostication.

FYI, your benchmark program for eastern NC just got their tail handed to them by a mediocre 3A team here in the Triad. Havelock goes down in round 2 to Morehead.

24-14. Northside showed some fight in the 4th quarter as Andrews coasted. congrats toNorthside on a fine season. Always a good hard fought game when we play them.
