Yea. They'll make an appearance. Young team and will take their lumps. Look for much improved team next year. Will have a much better shot at 2nd or 3rd in the conference then.
Just remember...what goes around..comes around!! And some of you guys wonder why so many folks on this board detest SOME Scotland fans!

I think the real answer is RC is a good team but flawed and Britt has found some offense.
No not at all! However, when the Scots were struggling against the Raiders during that 17 year stretch, not all of the Raider fans were on here rubbing in, including me! Just seems petty and childish when gown men come on this board and behave otherwise!
Didn't Scotland have 48 pts at the half at Britt.

It's not my place to defend JMAC. He is one of the most football knowledgable individuals in this board and has the credentials to back up my statement. His comment was spot on whether anyone believes it or not. With 3 losses this season and quite possibly 2 more on the horizon, the head coaching position at RIchmond will get hot before the season is over. Paul I agree with your statement about what goes around. Scotland fans had to hear it for 17+ years and now it is going around. If you are honest with yourself you will admit the Richmond has nowhere near the talent and size that they had during the glory years.
The only positive to come out of this game was the play of our freshman QB. He plays with the composure of someone much older. Having said that, we are a terrible football team. I hope we don't make the playoffs because we don't deserve to. Just the way it is.
Jack Britt used the same game plan as Wake Forest and Butler. Run jet sweeps,misdirection and quick dive plays up the middle then mix in some deep shots down the field. You can run wide on Richmond because they can’t shed blocks. Raider defense has got to win on 3rd down to get off the field.
Would that not be a read option in the RC offense? Thought that was pretty much how their running plays were designed fir the most part?

You're right scottishLAW. Just hate seeing the Raiders playing so un-Raider like. By the way, I do like the fighting Scots, have for years. My fathers family is from Laurinburg and Laurel Hill. My dad was born in Old Hundred and my grandmother and several aunts are buried in the Hillside cemetery across the road from Pate stadium. Interesting that my fathers middle name is "Pate".

Give JB their due. They put it on RC and outplayed them the whole game from all accounts. Those kids and coaches keep working and they'll be even better next year at JB. JV team is 5-1 also with only loss so far to RC.
They are much better - the previous coach IMO was looking for the door as soon as he got there. I think they are going to be a tough out.
