It is good to be back on here after several years. I was Lumbee Ram back when I posted before. Playoffs should be good this year. I have been trying to keep up with NC High School football, but I live in Northern West Virginia, so it’s difficult at times. The playoffs should be interesting. Looking forward to the brackets coming out.

T'VILLE237, He's a Reidsville guy... Oh, by the way, good luck against Lexington, tonight. At the pinnacle of the Thomasville-Lexington rivalry that had to have been something to see. Half of Davidson County, and then some, was probably there.

Griddie, when Lincolnton was in the WNCHSAA we did pretty good nearly every year but we never won the two playoff games to win the title, which was pretty hard to do. In 1967 we made it to the last game and had to go to Lexington, but that's where it ended for us. They won 33-12.
You'd know this, but I would guess the Thomasville-Lexington game was a hot ticket until maybe sometime in the 1980's ?
