Are they deserving of the #1 Overall seed in the east….can they make it to the state championship and could they possibly win the state championship?
They are for real. Whether or not they can go to state championship game is a different story. Imo, they are top 5 in east. They've beaten east duplin two yrs in a row.Are they deserving of the #1 Overall seed in the east….can they make it to the state championship and could they possibly win the state championship?
Whether they are deserving of the #1 seed this year I don’t know but I do know Edenton Holmes played them last year in the playoffs and they were legit. Are they deserving of the #1 Overall seed in the east….can they make it to the state championship and could they possibly win the state championship?

I think there's three in the East that can win state. Holley TreeAnyone in the east is probably playing for the state runner up title anyway.

While RPI is okay in my opinion...I think it needs tweaking still. I think strength of schedule should play into it...factoring in quality wins and quality losses. Right now RPI is a "how well your schedule has been" rating...doesn't take into account the quality of said wins or losses. The powers at be say they do deserve it, hence their rating. However, whether the powers at be were right or not depends on how Princeton finishes.
No punishment for good losses and no credit for easy winsWhile RPI is okay in my opinion...I think it needs tweaking still. Example...currently a loss is a loss and a win is a win no matter the competition...but I think a 2A losing to a 4A powerhouse should be graded equal to/or higher than a 2A beating a mediocre 1A school...or something similar.
