Is Havelock the Luckiest 3A Team In NC?

Since Crest went 3AA...Rams can lie to themselves after taking the 3A title next month that it would have been no different were Crest the opponent. Bwaahahahaha. Hope you thanked Jesus and gave the community forty hours for that gift.

You've got a solid program Havelock HS but you couldn't take Crest on your best day and I don't even like them. You dodged a 16 inch projectile from USS Iowa and you know it. Enjoy your hollow championship.
 
They will not win 3A. Crest or not. SP vs. EA in championship game.
 
They may not even make it out of the east in 3A. Eastern Alamance is the real deal, and do not sleep on Morehead out of the Triad area. They took down Western Alamance in round 1 and head to Havelock Friday.
I think Havelock wins, but Morehead I think will give them a game!
 
You guys are pretty quick to write off Freedom and the best RB in the state. Only the second round fellas. Geez.
 
I wish Freedom and Kings Mountain didn't have to play each other in the second round. Two really good teams. They deserve to meet up later in the bracket. South Point definitely got the better flip. Freedom and Kings Mountain are 21-3 with two losses to Shelby and one to Crest. They should be playing in the western finals. Throw in South Point for a record of 31-5 with three losses to Shelby and 2 to Crest. Those are some pretty stout teams. Hate someone has to lose. I think Freedom has the best chance of winning 3A (making Shelby the 3A champ...lol) but I think I have to pull for my county and hope Kings Mountain pulls the upset.

No, they're not the luckiest team in 3A. Because even with Crest/ACR in 3AA, I still don't see them winning the 3A title this season.

They're still a very good football team but they're also down from the level they've been at the previous 4 years. Part of that was losing Bowman (to basketball) and Joyner (to discipline), it certainly made their road towards a title much tougher than it might've been.

Yep Hibriten is playing Saint Stephens this week and will play the winner of Kings Mtn Freedom. Freedom beat saint and hibriten by a combined 80 points earlier this year. Just the way the brackets came together.

Wonder is St Stephen's can pull another win out. I'm gonna do some research on when the last time they went to the 3rd round was. I believe last week was their first playoff win since 1991.
 
How in the world did sp get luck. We have statesville and maybe west rowan if we win the game friday.

I sure am. They will be competition. Outside of Shelby we have not saw any this year. Gaston and Rutherford County couldn't provide any help to us.. They both suck equally, and I know this by how you rubes are bragging about winning a weak title in a weak bracket, playing weak teams like yourselves..

Truth is, Shelby took our spot as your eleventh game. The change has been very good for you. Instead of heading into the play offs with a loss, you ride in high because you can actually call yourselves conference champs. Good for you, but be real. If SP was in your weak ass conference, you'd be an 8 seed!
 
GATA, Rulz doesn't understand basic conceptual truths. A team of lesser athletes with great heart, discipline and great coaching gets better as the season goes on. It has been a gift to both Shelby and Crest to face us early. They know it but would never admit it. Rulz will spin it, obfuscate it and change the subject, but it is real. Those blowhard programs better keep finding talent under out of district rocks or that loud horn will wheeze.
 
One more thing, last year's Crest team was the truth, Burns kids aside. An eleventh game against us this year would have ended their streak! Word!!!

An 11th game against that 400 year old archaic offense would have produced a bigger beating than the first game.

Mad love here too bro, but this year would have been different imho. As I stated, that Crest team last year was the truth!

Last time I saw Crest and ACR square off it was as ugly as anything I've ever seen except for some of the fans on the home side. It was a joke just like the shirt Rulz was wearing that night. Ate three or four of those great big pickles from concessions and met Ledbetter and Brandon on the sideline.

ACR is in BIG trouble.

That very well may be true but ACR is a vastly different team than the one you saw a few years ago. I was there and it was ugly. It will be interesting to see this match up if it materializes. Both will have to get there first. ACR is focused on Weddington. Good luck to CC this week Foot.

After reading the topic of this forum started by Footsoilder this all reminds me of a good old war movie where a whole army has been either captured or killed(team has been beaten and out of playoffs)and just before one of them face the firing squad he (Footsoilder)shouts,is Havelock the luckest team in 3a just before the guns go off. Havelock is on its way to fifth in a row title game .
