That was a great interview, and I hope you can begin weekly shows with the coaching staff. You are absolutely right, Coach Johnson has an infectious attitude, I could almost visualize him smiling during the interview! Darkhorse #34, you're right about how he may use Mohamed Kaba, lol!It was my first meeting with him. He has a infectious attitude that makes you want to stop what you are doing, suit up, and get to work. We have a bright future ahead of us I do believe.
We would love to do a weekly show. If you know of someone or a business that would like to sponsor it let me know. It's inexpensive and gets results. That was a great interview, and I hope you can begin weekly shows with the coaching staff. Good job on the interview. Coach Johnson is a very positive coach. I have met and talked with him on 3 ocassions and have been impresses since meeting him the first time the day he took the job. If you listen to him you will almost never hear him refer to his players as kids, he refers to them as young men, players or most often children, and thats the truth, they are children.Looking forward to seeing the DarkHorses!Loved the interview sounds like he is all about the kids and all about the community so i take back a recent comment i was totally wrong.....talked about his coaches sounds like a awesome mix of new guys and old Lewis staff.....and sounds like he wants to be around for alil while which is good cause we need stability.....looking forward to seeing him Coach sounds like a winner on and off the field
Like Darkhorse04, give me a uniform, I'm ready to suit up lol! I'm also looking forward to seeing Kaba and Cruse at the LB positions. That's going to be a solid core!
No, haven't heard anything. I was actually hoping that you've heard something lolanyone hear anything about our first day numbers????

Hahaha! I've been checking the Sampson Independent online, but they're kind of slow when it comes to the sports page. They seem to be more interested in the local community college.Normally im out there and i count myself but well you already know lol

Wiz,only because you mentioned on the other thread that you hadn't seen where anyone had mentioned anything about watching practices and what the new coach would think, here you go:

This was on another thread, 34 Back me up on this, see wiz I didn't fabricate the topic out of thin air. Ok, I'll let it go now, just wanted to make sure you knew. Carry on.
Still want to linger on the argument uh 04; its never been a issue until you brought it up. Its still not.34 mentioned some former players having issues using the facilities, but theure has been no discussion about closed practices until last Friday. It's really not a issue. Coach didnt bring it up.Wiz,only because you mentioned on the other thread that you hadn't seen where anyone had mentioned anything about watching practices and what the new coach would think, here you go:

Who said no one can watch practice now? If i want to go watch practice I'll go watch practice. Coach Johmnson knows me, if I get run off, I get run off, but I dont think thats going to happen. Not really a issueThat’s great to hear, and Wiz, guess you win. It’s my fault no one can watch practice now. Sorry guys.

I can’t make it to the practices so the issue is moot, at least to me. I’m just excited to see this year’s addition of the Dark Horses and the beginning of a head coaching career of this young man. I’m going to try to make the Cape Fear game, hope to see some of you guys there! It will be great to place faces with individual NC Preps handles. GO HORSES!!
Practice? You talking about practice?(in my Allen Iverson voice)
He may not go Power 5 but I’m sure he will get some good looksGreat news! Ryheem Skinner had a great year there last year. Hopefully, after this season he'll get picked up by a good D-1 school.
Always a chance....never realized Camron Artis-Payne was at that school before Auburn...Skinner already bested one of his recordsHe may not go Power 5 but I’m sure he will get some good looks
Good luck to Clinton this season from this Shelby fan.Always been one of my favorite programs in the state.
I heard around 105.Good luck to Shelby aswell not that yall need it....heard yall had over 100 show up i find that amazing for a 2A school
