This must be a joke. You have SE Alamance a 4 seed but Burlington Cummings 17? They are BOTH in the same lousy conference but that big of a difference in rankings? Give me a break. What happens if Cummings beats them in 2 weeks? I suppose then you flip them?

The rankings he's using are done by the NCHSAA RPI system that are updated each Sunday. Their RPI system is how the seeding is done and should be updated again today which will probably change the entire playoff again. Grizzly didn't create these rankings.

* I just checked and they have been updated as of this morning.

Tell me you don't know how all this works without telling me you don't know how all this works

I think Cummings is terrible. But, why are you so worried about the rankings lol. Beat who you play and let it settle itself. It's okay to be the underdog sometimes

Conference champs are seeded above the rest of the field. If SE Alamance does win, I hope you come back to eat some crow with how confident you have been all year.

Also, in the RPI your opponents win percentage is .36310 and opponents, opponents win percentage is .47294. So lets be real and admit that Cummings hasn't played a tough schedule at all! Easy to be 7-1 with that schedule.

South Granville would have to beat J.F Webb to move into third place in that conference. Which would let them be considered the champs.

That's with the assumption that Carrboro loses to SSES and Vance County.
A lot of moving pieces for sure...but right now...Louisburg is considered the 2A Champion in that conference.

Agree…I’m just worried that South Granville doesn’t get in and the Leapfrog rule prevents Louisburg.

That is if they end up tied.

Today…Louisburg is conference champ…that is correct.

South Granville beat Louisburg. So if South Granville wins against J.F. Webb, they would be 2-3 in conference with South Granville winning the tie breaker. If SG loses, Louisburg is in. I don't think the leapfrog rule would be an issue here. Unless I am missing something?

Yes…that is correct….i guess SG would get in as a champion since they finished 3rd…if they beat Webb…..even if they finish outside of the top 32 in RPI.
