The Charlotte Observer Twitter account and Home page have listed numerous games that have been moved up to Thursday evening. So far many games in the Charlotte area and Western NC have been moved. They will provide updates as time passes.

Parkwood vs Forest Hills JV moved to Wednesday at 7:30 @ Parkwood. No decision on Varsity game @ FH yet.
The East Surry jv and varsity games have been moved up a day. Jv plays at Wilkes Central on Wednesday at 7 and Wilkes Central varsity comes to East Surry at 7 on Thursday

Several high school football games have been moved to Thursday in preparation for possible severe weather this weekend, but I hope the storm holds up. The system is expected to affect the state's weather, but just how much is still a little up in the air. They said people particularly in low-lying areas and along the coast should monitor the storm closely. Much of what North Carolina experiences will depend on where and when Hurricane Ian does makes landfall. Hope everyone gets to play.
