Both teams struggled on offense. Mooresville scored in the 2nd quarter on a short plunge from Jetton. Hough quickly answered back and the game was tied at 7 at the half. Mooresville managed to dodge several bullets by forcing timely turnovers in the second half. But all the offense could muster was a lone field goal to take the lead 10-7 in the third. Mooresville, again appeared to dodge another fatal blow by forcing a Husky fumble inside the Blue Devil 10 and returned the ball across midfield. But Hough stopped them on 4th down and drove downfield to go up 14-10. Mooresville had one last drive, but it ended with seconds left after Hough recovered a Blue Devil fumble and took a knee to end it. Mooresville faces Hopewell at home next week.

Hey freak - who's ugly mug you sporting in that avatar, Grandpa?

Tough loss. At least your boys are competitive this year. Ragsdale is in for a loooooong season. Dudley smoked them at home 48-7 tonight.

I hope everything is going good your way.

HaHa!

Good to hear from you Wossa. Things are going well. Hope you guys are good too. Yeah, thats my grandson.

Football team showing growing pains on offense. Defense pretty good. Coulda won this one. Hal Capps has things under control.

Wasn't pretty but there were still positives to take away. We cleaned up the penalties, and special teams was much better this week. Defense i thought was very good. Still a work in progress on offense. But they will get it going

both defenses played really well tonight. Made life very difficult for both offenses. But we have a lot to try to work out on the offensive side still. Just really inconsistent on that side of the ball
