Ding dong first of all, this isn't a human poll where humans vote for a team's ranking. This is a ratings system that takes into account a team's overall performance against their whole schedule in relation to other teams. If you'd like, I can give the whole formula.

And yes, I have a clue what it means when one team defeats another. So, let me ask you a question. Team A is ranked second with a record of 9-0. Team B is unranked with a record of 2-7. Team B upsets Team A. Do you then rank a 3-7 team B over a 9-1 Team A?
Just asking.

OK, honda, I will bite. Team A is Dudley, team B is Richmond. Both have one loss, but Dudley's is to Richmond. What kind of "system" rates team A over team B? If that is your formula, you might consider changing it. Rather than trying to explain it to me, why don't try to revise it so that it takes into consideration - head-to-head competition? I think s2v could delevelop a better system than you have. Just asking.

Not honda, but I know from running a computer ranking system myself that the computers look at an entire body of work, not just one head-to-head matchup during one week of the season.

honda's rankings (#10 vs #14), MaxPreps, simmonsratings (#4 vs #15 last week), the CarolinaVarsity Report (#6 vs #13), etc...ALL have Dudley ranked higher than Richmond and ALL have the two teams ranked in roughly the same place (honda's rankings have the two teams closest of all...but honda's rankings are also the only ones to reference human polls). They all use different algorithms to generate their numbers, but they ALL are coming to the same conclusion. Just a thought here, but maybe it's not the computers that are broken? Could it be that Dudley has looked better overall for the entire season against its schedule than Richmond has looked against theirs? I'm just asking, because the same thought seems to be universally agreed upon by both humans AND computers at the moment.

I'm not saying I agree or disagree with it, I'm just stating the inner workings here for anyone who has not tried to create one of these things for themselves before. It's a lot trickier than it looks.

I believe (TEAM A) which is Scotland should be in 25th place since they have Jumbo Tron and no one else does(Go_Scots approved). (TEAM B) Pinecrest should be at the least in 3rd place because they are all going to lay down tonight so the clock can run out.(TEAM C) Richmond Rockstars should be in 50th place because Raiderdev23 trying to funnel me into some sort of trap at the Richmond dome.
