Hoggard AD Braswell to retire

Hoggards AD Scott Braswell will retire March 1. Coach has been a positive fixture at Hoggard for nearly 20 years. He leaves the school in much better shape than the day he came. Good luck to him and his family as they turn the page. Thanks Coach!

West Charlotte defensive coordinator 1995-96.
Hoggard head coach 1997-2014.
Record; 201-70 as head coach 167-51 at Hoggard, 34-19 at Olympic.
State champion in 1995 as West Charlotte defensive coordinator, 2007 as Hoggard head coach.
12 conference championships at Hoggard.
Hoggard athletic director 2008-16.

This is going to create the same issue Ashley has. Hoggard's new AD is a first year assistant principal with part-time duty as the AD. Hard to do for a 4a level school. Don't agree with this new county policy. Best of luck to Braswell as he continues his recovery. Probably will see him coaching again soon.
