Hibriten vs. Alexander?

Should be a great game,, id give alexander the edge just as its early in the season but hibriten will be tough defensively i am sure... Hibriten is young so who knows at this point, also new HC with the reins,,, could be the making for another good season... Should learn a lot at the crest scrimmage how this team is going to look,,, best thing is,, still well coached...
This should be a great test for both teams. A game worth attending! I give the slight edge to Hibriten due to athleticism and speed.
A great out of county rivalry. I thought AC had tons coming back with Hibriten doing some heavy rebuilding. One fan said South Caldwell should take Hibriten this year cause of the heavy losses/Souths heavy returns. But enough of that that’s a thread all by itself. I’d give the slight edge to AC cause of the losses/returns of both teams. I think Hibriten brings on another run and of course another conf championship but the big run won’t be til 2020 or 2021. If all is well with society and Trump wins ha ha.
SC will be better , I am sure,,, But that one south fan just might be wrong.. I think the style offense that south runs with hibritens athletic defense is not a good combination for SC success. This hibriten team will get better each game, and my guess will anchor its success on defense as in 16/17. Really excited to see this Mackey coached team and how and what he changes..
I agree. I think Hibriten only improves as the season goes on. Curious to see new QB and backfield in action.
Yes i think he has the potential to be one of the better qb's we have seen. Much respect to last years qb, but a lot of people have been waiting to see this one in action... I still think hibriten struggles with spread style teams, however they have learned to defend it a lot better.
Only the very upper echelon teams can SLOW down the spread! Your gonna give up some yardage, tightening up between the 20’s is your only chance to win! 17 yr old kids just have a hard time covering all those receivers.
I am excited to see #8 finally as our qb! We do have some young players but we also had some kids move to Lenoir this year that have already been playing for other schools. I am excited to see Darin sling the ball to that 6'2" wide receiver that moved here. Zion Norwood will be a power back but he is just a sophomore. We did get a rb/lb from Maiden move to big ole Lenoir. Our line one both sides should be huge. I thought this would be a down year since we lost Gee and a bunch of other great players. This could be a very interesting year for Hibriten. Hibriten 35-17
One kid was from ashbrook and the other was with Maiden last year. I am not sure if there are any more. Zion Norwood was on jv last year. 5'9" 217 pounds. Wrecking ball rb
Norwood is actually a junior this year!! When these guys learn the rigors of varsity they will be good but with so many inexperienced guys starting the year could struggle at first....
I thought we would have a lot of inexperience this year also. One of the coaches reminded me that the 2nd and 3rd string played a lot last year. We were normally up by 40 points by halftime so the younger guys got to play the entire 2nd half of most games. I was very surprised to see Hibriten ranked 7th in 2A to start the season.
Crest will be a good test for Hibriten, they always are. Look forward to seeing you there.
