HHS can with the county championship this week........

Seems as if SC can score a little, not sure if they can stop HHS. Given what happened with Burns over Shelby I guess I'm a little more concerned but still think HHS can win pretty handily.
 
I think Hibriten will be able to score like Kings Mtn and East Rutherford have question is will Hibritens D shut them down or let South hang around. I hope its a good game.
 
I think if south just tries to run, advantage hibriten, if they pass a little they probably will have some success. I would guess the offensive line play of south will be very important, hibriten rarely got any pressure on the ashe qb, and that was concerning to me. Hibritens offense is clicking pretty good right now, this team kinda reminds me of the 2016 team that lost to south point.
 
Beamer, what do you think is key difference in the defense this year? I see two areas 1st it seems they are looking for a middle linebacker, #44 looks the part but he is young. Also it seems the safety gets a little out of position, i know he is young too.

MLB and DL are biggest differences. Watson is only returner on DL. #8 can play saftey but they seem to be saving him as the backup QB. Seem to be 2 platooning alot more than in the past but they can at the moment.
 
Hibriten will beat SC by more that 4 scores!
Only problem i see HHS "maybe" having will be keeping everyone healthy, not only in this game but from here on till the playoffs. Sometimes pointless injuries come about at the wrong time with games well in hand. Gotta get that kicking game fixed too or scratch the pat to conversions.

Used to be an interesting game. By next year or year after it should be. South ain’t what they were during Butch Carters final years with the Landon Dickerson set of boys but they may slowly creep back up. Got beat by 2 great teams so they should be in every game rest of season for a least a half or more after taking a Hibriten spanking this Friday. Only time will tell.

This is the kicker’s first full year of even playing football so I think he will get better as time goes on... Some of his kicks look great and he did make a FG last week.... Plus it’s not like he won’t get enough practice over the next 8 games

Remember guys there is a holder and a snapper involved! Haney missed a few every year mostly due to the snap but bottom line he missed! This kid is gonna be fine kicking it just as deep as Haney did as a soph.

Hope he gets better. Gonna need that come playoff time. Been bit in the butt to many time on that before. With that offense, later rounds if he was still struggling id go for 2. Better odds even going 50% on conversions than to miss pat's.

Can’t see him gettin any practice over the next 8 games cause they’ll score almost every drive on this schedule lol. Might get a kick or 2 on the Patton and Foard game but that’s it. If you were being sarcastic bout his getting kicking time I dunno. Just my 2 cents and comical statement.

Foard may be 0-3 but played 3 tough teams so they may not be as soft and get a few 4th down stops on D were Hibriten could kick it. I guess I say that to say this, Foard, even though they are not the topic of this game, but are on schedule, could vie for 2nd place. Makes a whole post all by itself, “Who will finish 2nd behind Hibriten in this cupcake conference??” Can’t see it being Bunker Hill or Draughn that’s for sure lol
 
Wasn’t talking bout Kicking and Punting y’all. Feild goals. Not much punting or field goals needed except maybe for Foard or Patton as far as conference play is concerned.

Hardly kicked FG’s the last 2 years even with Haney!!! From my experience the coaches would rather have 7 then 3

South musta had some promising drives and fall to turnovers. Figured if they moved the ball on ER they’d at least do alittle something. I wasn’t there so any more comments let me know.
