Will this be a positive change?
Coach Myers resigns....Kenneth Dockery Head Coach at Hayesville High!
Great move Dockery deserves it hopefully won't take long to get things turned aroundSpeaking of utube, how many of the staff will be retained? Varsity or JV?
excellent hire, good guy and good coach. Hopefully he gets the chance to add at least one coach of his choosing to the staff.
I think he will get to choose who stays and goesMore importantly, hope he gets the chance to "rid" himself of a few coaches!
Hopefully Hayesville will have some PE, history, etc. type teaching positions available (even if at the middle school or elementary school) so he can bring in a few guys he wants. It will be hard to get any good, qualified coaches to come in without P.E. or similar type teaching positions available.I think he will get to choose who stays and goes
All most all the coaches from last year were retired former teachers or volunteers. There are few former coaches he might want to get involved again but I am sure they would work with him to fix the program.Hopefully Hayesville will have some PE, history, etc. type teaching positions available (even if at the middle school or elementary school) so he can bring in a few guys he wants. I say coach Dockery will have the defense next yearWill Hayesville keep the "green light " defense?
I have no dog in the fight and not trying to knock this hire. However, if you look at it logically, if this coach was already a coordinator on both sides of the ball at different times then what makes the fan base for the Jackets think that there is going to be such a huge change in philosophy and management of the team? Why is the result going to be drastically different? As a coordinator obviously he already had a lot of input and influence on the program. Just saying I don't think there will be a major difference in the program. But anyway good luck to Hayesville.
I would bet a big change in both , congrats DocI am not sure what is in the works I do know whatever changes that are made on defense will be for the better lol
Any of you Hayesville posters know if there will be a change in the offense or defense for next year?
The defense will go back to tackling, much like it did when Doc was the DC.
