LD, White Oak took a huge hit when Northside High School was built. Those boys around Piney Green can play, but NS got a lot of them. White Oak HS was an outstanding program prior to Northside.

I played at West Craven in '77 and we played at White Oak that year. My daughter is on West Craven's volleyball team and that was my first time going in their gym recently. We played Swansboro Tuesday at Swansboro and I really liked their gym. High ceiling that don't interfere with the ball.

He graduated class of 58. I love eastern nc .....spend a lot of time there as a kid. Give me moores bbq in new bern over either bridges bbq any day .
