Hanners out at East Davidson--who's next?

That would be a major get for East if he was to go there. Despite the miserable time he had at SWR he is a solid coach and has some hardware so he isn't some lesser coach.

This is an intersting time for them as they have a huge choice to make.Hanner left the program in a much better state than when he took over; and a solid hire could keep that momentum going. If they pick a downer then the program will go back down. In the much tougher CCC a quality coach will help a long way from being a contender to a basement dweller.

Hanner got a great opportunity and it was time to go. With the newly aligned CCC, ED will be in the bottom 1/2 of that new league every year. Might go in house like they did with wrestling and keep it in the family.

Now that Wheatmore job is open, you think East Davidson and Wheatmore will be battling it out for some of the same coaches?

David Hines, North Davidson grad and most recently defensive coordinator at Southeast Guilford. According to the Dispatch.
