Chase ? Everybody I ever met from there, I liked, with the exception of the obnoxious announcer they had/have. He had this grating Long Island accent and if the Trojans are winning he was really annoying. We got a big dose of it around 1995, course, the last time we were there, sometime in the early 2000's his spirit was dampened, some. Unfortunately, from what I hear and read, Chase is really good. Sure hope they have a more cordial voice.

Just noticed you slid in Anson at 31. I tell ya…that last 5 in…could go a variety of ways…it’s just as interesting as the possible changes at the top.

This Friday night will determine a lot at the bottom of the bracket as well.

Morehead will lose to Reidsville for sure…but they have advantage over TW Andrews and N. Forsyth due to the leapfrog rule. TWA has completed their schedule and N. Forsyth still has to play McMichael…I wouldn’t be surprised if N. Forsyth wins and has a higher RPI than TWA and Morehead and yet can’t get in due to leapfrog. There’s gonna be some hell raised in Forsyth county if that happens!😂😂

So you’re taking Anson over West Stanly…I guess….that’s a huge game….ain’t sure on that one…Grizz. I’d pick West Stanly.

SWR will definitely beat Trinity….they have a really good chance of snagging that 31 seed.

Then again…Morehead‘s RPI shouldn’t be hurt too bad by the loss to the Reidsville and might just hang on to that last spot.

Lexington will lose to Thomasville…so I don’t see any chance they sneak in.

North Stanly vs Albemarle is another game we should watch…if the comets lose….whew!!

Brevard is another one….prolly gonna lose to Polk County…..this last 5 in could be a chocolate mess after Friday night!

I know it looks better...but the last thing I would do is overlook West Lincoln...Avery will get his 250+ yards and his TDs and then throw in 15 tackles to boot...he doesn't tire, he ain't shy, he wants all the smoke. A little over 6' and around 200lbs and a 4.5 40 time...he's a Brian Urlacher type in a steel body with a Lincoln County attitude.

Mr Lincolnton, that would have been Mr Teague announcing over the PA and he was in no way whatsoever a yankee, just a born and bred Rullaford Co guy that loved his Trojans. I think he was also head of the booster club for several years. Unfortunately we lost him around 2004 when he went down to FL to help out with hurricane relief. He passed away during that trip.

But if he was a little over the top it was probably because we historically don’t get many home playoffs games down our way, so it was a little exciting for us all.
