Yea we are not in a position to go to the Eastern finals. I know that. But it would be nice to win our conference and maybe win one playoff game. I'd be happy at that. I saw last night why Greene Central is doing so well this year. They are well coached. Their JV program is looking good and it's a reflection of the staff there. Hopefully we can get the win . We were down 22-0 at the half last night and came back and tied it and won in OT. We held them out on their 2 pt try and when we scored we ran a damn reverse on a 2 pt try. Caught them totally off guard.
You never know Otis once you get in anything can happen all about peaking at the right time.
Ouch. So much for the undefeated record.
West Craven won 21-14. Greene Central made some mistakes in the first half and we made some in the 2nd half. They had the ball inside the 10 as time ran out. I have to tip my hat to them. They didn't quit when they got down. They will be a tough draw for someone in the 1st Rd.
Did I mention Greene Central chose this game as their Homecoming game?? I hope they had a great dance afterwards!!
That a nice win by West Craven. It will shake up the playoff seedings.
