The Goldsboro Cougars make the 1.5 hour trip down to the Corral @ South West Onslow to take on the Stallions in the 1st round playoff game in 2A East. Looks to be the Lone Ranger (Bowden) of Goldsboro, against the 3 Horsemen (Johnson, Mahone, Soliz) out of the T for SWO.

Bowden listed at 6'2" and 235 also plays LB and leads the team in Tackles. Johnson comes in at 6'1", 235 and also plays LB. The two should see a lot of each other tonight in every series. Bowden has 600+ more yards than Johnson, but he is the lone workhorse for the Cougars. Johnson shared carries with 2 other backs, both over 1000 yards out the T.

Common opps this year are WRH and ED. Both of us went 0-2, but then who hasnt ? If either of us makes it past the 3rd round WRH looms again in the future.

Pre-game show at 7 and kickoff at 7:30.

We have been playing better every week

Their main back is a bruiser, hard to bring down.
goldsboro is big all the way around
Not taking them lightly

The QB is good enough to hurt yo, but we have to stop #12, force them to throw
We have a lot of Ints this year and a good pass rush

The cougar defense is big up front, 3 285 and up. We have a big O front and I think we match up against them well.

For us to move the ball have to come off the line and finish blocks and staying on them

We have a couple things coming up I think will help us against them
