We all know where the game of the week in the NW 1A will be this week. Should be a great game between Mount Airy vs East Surry. Could this be the Bears 3rd straight loss to ES ?

A lot of emotion and significance to this one - MA playing for revenge and a 3 way share of the 2015 Conference Title. ES playing for an outright Conference Championship, undefeated regular season, and a top seed in the 1AA Playoffs (1-4 seed along with the other potential undefeated 1AA teams West Montgomery, East Wilkes, & Pine Lake Prep). Should be a great atmosphere and game.
Focus, intensity and emotion will not be a problem for East Surry on November 6. This is a special day for East Surry Football. #27Strong
Yes this is a rivalry game with a lot of implications on the line but it is just another game and another team that stands in the way of what the Cardinals aspire to accomplish this year. I have a feeling our boys will be very focused and motivated on Friday night. There team just carries themselves different than in the past and this game is nothing more than the last ten games have been..."The Next Opponent".
