Who do yall think are the frontrunners this year for 2A girls basketball. I know Farmville Central will be in the mix as well as North Pitt. What about on the west side is Shelby still a threat, are there any sleepers out there.

I’d imagine with both Hollifield girls and Pass back Shelby will be in the mix in 2a.

I'll add Randleman to this list. They return a very talented, veteran team. As far as sleepers.......I'm not sure what they have this year, but I'm keeping an eye on SW Randolph. They have a good program.
Salisbury will be strong again. I would go with Shelby/Salisbury as the main contenders in the west. Both teams return almost all their players.
East Surry will be good, but they lost the 2x POY and their coach. I don’t think they have anyone to replace who they lost player wise and they will miss their former coach.

I’ve heard Salisbury girls have added an out of state player. I’ve not seen her play, but have heard good things. They’re undefeated in the Triad Blue Chip fall league.
