Right now going into week 5 conf is a combined 22-6 with 4 teams Wallace,Clinton,Trask, and Union undefeated......with one week to go before conf play starts how do yall see conference playing out????......I seen Union play and they are much improved...Trask I believe has benefited from a very weak schedule as their 4 opponents have a combined record of 2-9 beating three 0-3 teams guess we will find out sept 23 when they play Wallace.

I see the conference playing out like this:
1. Clinton- Too much offensive firepower and the defense is stout.
2. Wallace- Defense will win games for them, but offense is not what it was a year ago.
3.East- Giving them third because of the Hines twins, but not enough firepower to stop Clinton and W-RH.
4. Union-Good squad, but not nearly enough depth to compete the whole game.
5. Trask- Much improved from last year, but a weak non-conference schedule may hurt them.
6. Midway- Good QB, not enough of a supporting cast.
7.Pender - This squad will stay out of the basement this year.
8. West- First year coach, will go through some growing pains.

Yep, I like what you have there. I do think East Bladen will give a little more resistance to Clinton and WRH this year. I don't think these games will be blowouts, by no means, like they were last year.

How is East looking this year, because last year if I remember correctly, there were some injuries to key players?

Overall, I think we will continue to get better. A lot of inexperience but those kids are athletic. That inexperience showed up the 1st game but slowly we are turning the corner. Laney will be a good test to see if we have turned that corner. We had a couple of season ending injuries to 2 starting returning players before the season even started that set us back a little. I really could see us getting to the 3rd or 4th round in small 2A if things progress like I hope they will.

At least one of the Twins if not both were injured at some point of the year last year.
Ethan Hines is off to a great year this year. He is doing it all right now for the Eagles.

I don't see Pender climbing out of nowhere and I'm still iffy about Trask I know they have some athletes but they have literally player no one yet WB and Midway continue to be middle of the road....Union I think may surprise some I think they will be 4-5......top 3 won't change Clinton,WRH,and East Bladen will battle for the conference title
